The issue regarding the new stadium is who will get the ticketing rights. One company has directors from Channel Seven and the other company is partly owned by Channel Nine and it looks like they will get the rights. More interesting is that Maguire Media Productions produces the WAFL vision and pay Channel Seven. THE THICKENS PLOT.

Check the Sunday Times Bazza. Raitt was or is supporting Garlics sponsorship but Kemp says Soufs are not.

If West Perth are forced to remove their sponsorship logos - then by the same brush - East Perth sorry the West Coast Eagles Academy , must remove theirs due to conflict and blatant discrimination issues

It would be a bit different if the telecast was a rights situation but the league clubs are paying for this debacle

Even though I support West Perth in this issue, I am quite amused with Channel 9s 'holier than thou' attitude in all this. Just wondering how they would respond if channel 7 crashed into their live cricket coverage in some shape or form. What would be 9's reaction?? Exactly the same as 7's in this situation because the world of commercial television is competitive and cut throat. Lets focus on the real villains of this farce, the WAFC who have had 18 months to come up with a workable solution and have been unable to.

Mate I think it's pretty double standard management allowing the West Coast Academy side to have Ch7/West logos - particularly when we're all paying for the telecasts
Basically that money could be seen as going straight to that club in sponsorship
Piss poor governance that reeks of one rule for one & another for the next club

Stand to be corrected but wasn't it 9 and 10 earlier this year working together to promote the rivals coverage between Test and Big Bash Cricket?

Astounding, TV stations reaching an outcome to promote the game. Only one loser out of this BS and that's the WAFL.

When we are being slugged a million dollars to broadcast the footy, and only one match been televised over the last 3 weeks!? Something is terribly wrong!! And the telecaster is apparently 'promoting' the Wafl! How is the non televising of a week achieving that?
