when Lyon was questioned as to why Bennell was resigned a few weeks ago, he said because if Freo didn't sign him up someone else would....let's see how that unfolds as Lyon's credibility is now at stake.

I just read Bennell was told by Peter Bell on Saturday before the B&F he was no longer required at the club and decided not to attend. Freo and his agent have been shopping him around but no takers at this stage. It seems to me it's part Bell trying to shake up the culture and part power play to make it clear who's running the footy department. Good on Belly I say as nothing will change whilst Lyon and Rosich have total and complete control.

Incredible, that's a big power play by Peter Bell that will put Ross Lyon on notice. I reckon Ross will already be on the phone to his manager sounding out other clubs for 2020.

another ordinary first half of next year and that decision will be taken out of his hands imo.

Maybe no power play at all, it’s Harley Bennell where talking about. Dockers probably trying to unload him before the next incident comes out.

Bugger, according to 7 tonight Hogan is staying in Melbourne next year at least. Maybe Fremantle are taking a suck it and see approach regarding his foot injury and they might pick him up for less next year.

If the Dockers went cold on him due to injury he may not want to go there when he does come home,just a thought.

Maybe 30plus but I think Melbourne probably have a big say in this. Seems like they were asking too much and Freo are well placed in the draft if they don't have to sell the farm to get Hogan.
