Hang on,didn't we play these guys a couple of weeks back?. This is the 3rd time we have met Perth this season, whereas we have only played South and East Freo, Peel and Subiaco once. In fact we haven't played South since late March?? All pretty random it appears.
Anyway after last weeks stirring win it is really important to consolidate with another 4 points this Saturday. Matt Rogers will be a huge loss for the rest of 2017 and Harding may need to think about how he structures his forward line without Matt who is a real competitor. Cary will be high on confidence after last weeks stellar effort, his challenge is now to start stringing consistent performances together. Crowley appeared to make a real difference last week and added experience and hardness to the group. Great to see guys like Wityk, Hackett and Mackenzie coming into the team and all made an impression. Notte is in career best form this year I think, could be another Swan medal coming his way if he continues.
I think we should be able to win this game comfortably but of course it depends on which version of the Swans 2017 team rolls out there. If its the Ferrari model as displayed against East Perth, we will probably beat them by 10+ goals, but if its the old clapped out Holden we saw at Claremont a few weeks ago, Perth will whip us.
I think Perth will be frustrated at their humiliation at the hands of SF last week and I wouldn't be surprised if they really come out firing, so our boys need to be ready for that.

solid tip for this weekend...Plenty of sandwiches to be eaten by coaching staff out at Lathlain.

As for the footy does anyone know of Taryce is suffering any niggles from his excursion with the 18's...doesn't look his usual self out on the field the past 2 matches

DW I can't speak to his performance last Saturday. The previous week there didn't seem to be the usual joie de vivre about him. Dare I say it? Has he been infected with the "Player first mentality" that seems to be the raison d'etre for the 18s state team and colts' competition next year?

Interesting one 42...hasn't returned with his usual lustre that's for sure. Maybe he has a niggle. I cant understand why he was left out otherwise as this kid can seriously play. Reality is he is a young fella who has been playing up the grades all season so the body might be struggling a little. Hope he turns it on Saturday!

Alex Howard has also looked a little flat the past 2 games also after a scintillating start to the season.

Mike, I wouldn't be complaining about playing Perth if I were you. I would be eternally grateful.
