I'm all for celebrating a good win but when you are trying to break in to the league side you want to be seen as doing everything right, Recovery being one of the big priorities when sitting on the cusp of league selection...or maybe they've just given up on league footy this year under Harding. Before you say it " I know" it's only a beer but perception is everything when you're not in the side

Probably not in this day and age mate but coming from the same era as yourself I dont mind it...the boys bonding after a hard fought win in tough conditions over an ice cold frothie...good to see them stay on to watch their team mates in battle!

The cold hard reality is that Swans are going to have to play a whole lot better than they did yesterday to even get within 5 or 6 goals of the best teams in the competition. For whatever reason they started the game as if they didnt want to be out there and Perth led them to the ball and were far more desperate in the first quarter and a half. Some of the free kicks referred to were a bit soft but you could argue that Perth were reaping the benefit of being harder at the ball. Thankfully Swans started to ramp things up by about 15 minutes in to the 2nd quarter but against teams like Subiaco and South Freo, the game would have been shot to pieces by that stage anyway.

Agree BH but just maybe consider doing it out of the coach's line of vision

Looks pretty good Swan 42, although I probably would have found a spot for Faulkner in the top 8. My personal view is that I would have rated him on the same level as Ellard.
Your call though, that's the idea of spectators votes

I couldn't based on his decision in the last quarter to choose to run off for a handball rather than to commit to a shepherd. And yes, no doubting his commitment to the ball but it was on the half back flank as we were trying to hold Perth out. And again yes, he is not the only player to choose that option.

Greg Hardings weekly blog informed us that Jake Coniglio has broken his leg. That's really tough luck for him and hopefully he will be recovered and ready to go in round 1 2018. Also Jason Daniels ruptured his ACL which will require a 2nd knee reconstruction, very disappointing for Jason. All the best to him in his recovery as well
