I suspect that even Harding and the players would feel that this weekend is the moment of truth for Swans. There may still be some mathematical possibilities if Swans lose but these will probably be reliant on other results and I am sure that the team would want to get into the top 5 under their own steam.

I reckon that Subiaco will want to play at finals level intensity so if we come out with the 4 points we will certainly have earned it. They may rest a few but they have more than adequate reserves to come in which will not disrupt their team play.

From Swans point of view we will need big games from our key players such as Davis, Riggio, Notte and Simpson to name a few and a desperate attitude that was on show in the last two home games against the Falcons and Royals.

The boys have shown they are capable of pressuring the top sides, its just a matter of whether they bring that game with them on the day because they sure didn't demonstrate that intensity for long enough at the Showgrounds last week.

Joel Houghton not named in league or ressies so must be injured. Otherwise team pretty much as expected. Kirk Ugle has had a pretty frustrating season with injury. Will Dylan Nelson get a game this week?
The Subiaco team looks rather ominous on paper. We are up against it for sure.

Really important for us that subi beat you in this one, we have a tough run home - east Perth , west Perth, and swans all away, and east freo at home.

I think the odds are still in Claremonts favour TOO, even if we do pull off an upset over Subiaco. Remarkable really considering the Tigers lost their first five games.

You ripper Sweannies, big game at the Arena next week, you will be buoyed by the fact Rasmussen and Shannon both did hammies !

Gutsy win by the boys. We were lucky that the breeze abated in the early part of the last quarter which enabled us to set up a 2 and a half goal lead and then hang on for dear life at the end! Keeps us in the hunt. The loss won't have any negative impact on Subiaco at all, in fact it may get them focussed towards the finals. Hopefully Broady's injury isn't as bad as it looked.
