LB he has been at Swans for some time now. From your description, and I was up the other end so difficult to see exactly what happened, it sounds as though Johnson's actions may have had some influence on what happened. Notwithstanding the above I still expect hime to get at a very minimum 3 three weeks

Paul Johnson had eyes for the ball, Rogers had a chance to not nail him (in the head)and decided not to take that option. Should get four, will probably get two.

Johnos approach at the ball was at best awkward and contributed to the contact I agree. He did have eyes solely for the ball which was unwise with a solid individual like Rogers in the vicinity. He is far to important at East Perth to risk his body like that but I can't help but respect him for it. I'm an avid WAFL fan Swan so I remember his years at Perth quite well and always thought he would be a good recruiting target.

Leedy you can be April fool. Three weeks is a hard penalty did the injuries to Johnson have a bearing on this. The impact was like a car crash really the hardest contact I have seen since David Swan retired. Was video evidence used at the hearing I wonder.

Totally expected; however, it is symptomatic of what this WAFL season is rapidly becoming: a complete and utter farce. We have had a drop off in attendances in Round 2 which does not bode well for the rest of the season; the supposed boost due to Ch 7's involvement has completely and utterly failed and we have a more prostituted WAFL fixturing as a consequence of Ch 7's involvement. The WAFC continues to do what the WAFC does.

Like you I was expecting a better outcome given the Channel 7 promotion of WAFL.
The attendance for the identical set of fixtures in Round 2 2014 was 7843 whilst this year it was 7917.
