Bloody pissed off that Swans lost today. They will bounce back, they have to. We have to have genuine WAFL teams with a strong supporter base in the top three positions on the ladder. Peel & East Perth are unauthentic in a contrived competition.

A very gutsy final quarter against the odds by the boys today. Good signs and tidying up a few things augurs well for a better season than what the experts think we will have.

It was good to see that we had more supporters clap the team off after the game than the supporters of the club formerly known as East Perth.

MEMO to G Walton: Come to a league game played by a legitimate WAFL team against the club formerly known as East Perth will remove you from the delusion that all bar one, namely me, have moved on from the host club alignment decision. The anger against the host club at today's game was palpable. Perhaps if you removed yourself from the ivory tower that you are currently in and move amongst the legitimate and passionate supporters of the WAFL competition you might indeed feel the need to rescind the host club decision or resign due to the damage the host club alignment has had on the WAFL competition.

I saw on the WAFL website that Matt Rogers has been reported. I assume it was for the incident involving Johnson?

What an absolute farce. Who is going to report the three imposters purporting to be umpires in today's game? What can you say other than to say that Worobec is not in the worst three umpires in the WAFL.

I am not sure how the 3 blind mice had time to write out a report in between giving out all those 50m penalties to WART that resulted in goals!!

Let's get 1 thing straight. While the umpires weren't the best,in no way did they impact the result! For 3 qtrs that was some of the worst football I have seen by a swans team in recent years. We were out numbered at every contest and they simply gave the hands out the back and away they went. If it was 1 on 1 not only did they have the next 1 in but the next 2-3 to help. They worked harder for each other! It seemed to me that they had their spare at the stoppage while we had ours behind the ball. The only saving grace was that we had to throw caution into the wind,albeit with it,in order to have any hope in that last qtr. Yes we fought it out which is a positive sign but that style isn't going to be the instruction from the get go next time. I'd say only 2 blokes gave a yelp for 4 qtrs and that was rigs and rogey. There will definitely be changes in 2 weeks time!

We had the Eagles players and the umpires against us today. We can only hope we don't end up with Parry, Worobec and Williamson all in the same game during the season.

Murray Newman left at quarter time again.. Rogers knock on Johnson was memorable that's all I will say.

Still proud of the spirited fight back in final quarter today to cut the final losing margin. Okay we didn't get the points but we didn't get flogged in the end. Heads up boys!

Sorry guys I disagree....its like any game. Swans were undisciplined and 2nd to the ball for the first 3 quarters and consequently they gave away cheap free kicks and 50's. In the last quarter they were disciplined and first to the ball and hey presto they started getting the most frees. Makes sense doesn't it?? The trick is to play 4 quarters of disciplined footy and then the umpires become irrelevant.
