The CEO and the President don't seem to be on the same page it seems and we both know what that could lead to. That's probably why Raponi pulled out of his radio interview this morning, he might have been on the blower to the CEO to get their stories straight!

West Perth broke the contract when they didn't provide the job they promised to provide.

I think what Tommy Bottrell was attempting to convey was that each & every recruiting scenario comes with it's own risk .... unfortunately for the Cardies , the bottom line was signed , contract fee agreed to , clearance fee agreed to and the player was then listed by his new club .... unless mutual settlement is reached or arbitration by the WAFL is given to the clubs concerned , the fee is due payable to Swans

So if he was up in the mines and thought "nah, this isn't for me", he could come back down and play for WP.

That's why Bottrell would be suggesting that the transfer is complete and anything that happens beyond that is irrelevant.

If we have to make the payment, then so be it ! Its neither here nor there in regards to how we perform on the park going forward.
