One would surely think a transfer fee document would include a clause that the player must be a player at the club he is transferred to?
Surely the WAFL are not that far out of touch with the world.

As far as I am concerned Krakouer should pay the transfer fee if it has to be paid. He has caused the issue, no one else has caused it. West Perth should not have to pay for Krakouer changing his mind.

Swans the innocent party here. But no way West Perth should pay a fee for a bloke who can't decide day to day what he is going to do.

Olly-Not sure about the ruling on a transfer agreement, not sure if the club signed any such agreement.

Barney, Barney, Barney- You are flogging a dead Swan here mate, please read Olsen and my previous posts, he literally did cost us "next" to nothing as the $15k TF was not payed prior to him moving on to the mines !

PS: WP may have spent a couple of K relocating him, Im not sure but just bringing that up coz I know you will drill down to that at some stage.

it has been signed, I thought you knew that being across all things West Perth ?

key points from todays paper:

1.The two clubs had signed a transfer agreement believed to be worth $20,000, allowing the 30-year-old to play for the WAFL premiers this season.
2.His defection is set to cost West Perth both on and off the field, with Swans chief executive Tom Bottrell declaring his club would still expect to be paid the full transfer fee.

"A deal was done and we've sent an invoice so we would expect payment," he said.

"It's no different to someone running down the race on the first training night and breaking their leg and never playing again - he was signed to them."
3.a spokesman from the WAFL said the league would expect the fee to be paid.

"The player was transferred and listed by the club so transfer fees apply," he said.

on what basis shouldnt they have to pay.?
if you sign an agreement to pay a fee then its not Swans fault Krak has decided not to play..

its pretty simple, WP signed the form, agreed to a fee and the player has been transferred and list with WP..

maybe they shouldnt have signed the form before the funding for his job had come through :)

West Perth CEO on 91.3fm just saying that they are required to pay the transfer fee and will have to do so.
Which Parker is now working at WP?

You are demented mate, you can look through all of my posts and I can guarantee you I have never mentioned anything about "being across all things WP". What I will do is correct your plethora of mis information you pass on. Yes, I do have some close contacts and I can guarantee that my information will be more truthful and accurate than yours "on most occasions".

As Sacko has stated, I can tell you that WP with give Swans f*ck all, you and all the other clubs would take the exact same stance and dont tell me any different. Im sick to death of you and your SD cronies having a dip at other clubs, simply because your club has got it horribly wrong, sort your own shit out, you got yourselves in it, now concentrate on getting out of it !

Clearly you have started with WP in your attempts to reign in the $1.8m, good farken luck !

WP should now be considering legal action against the player.
A contract was signed, WP clearly have been duded here.

Why no mention of the players responsibility ? Is he immune from it ?

No way should WP be left high & dry here
