Can't cop Subi whinging about not being able to sign Clarke because of the rule like they did so much work to develop him. He was an East Perth player before going to Peel before going to $ubi.

He was originally from Oakleigh Chargers who was allocated to EP when drafted by Freo then forced to go to Peel...so what's your point? He wants to return to Subi after 1 year away and is prohibited from doing so by a rule that was designed by the WAFC to do exactly that...the Zac Clarke Rule.

Not rocket science that Perth would be the best fit for Clarke....EP don't need him with Jones and Ajang, Cl have Goddard and Eastland?....Peel might want him with only Meek on hand, plus they have the money no doubt to make him happy..SF have Higgins so who knows..EF don't need him, they already have Griffen, Loersch and Strnadica playing with Teakle in the shadows...tho Zac will go where the money shines brightest....

BC happy for Subi to shunt Marsh EF way, thus enabling Zac to go back to Subi....Marsh is surplus to requirements me thinks in Subi's defence....win win for both clubs...

Freeze, I made the same mistake a while back - Marsh is worth 10p and Clarke 12. Subi have no 12 pointers in their list, so they are unable to make room for Clarke by letting another player go.

Why is Marsh only 10 Ted?...is it because he is a WA boy delisted from the AFL and not an ES boy delisted from the AFL?...

Freez it's based on AFL games played for non-district returning AFL guys. Marsh played 25 AFL games for Sydney so gets allocated 10 points whereas Clarke has played 110 so gets 12. We have no 12 point players to swap out as TN says. We're also not allowed to cut say two 5 point players and a couple of one pointers to make up the numbers. For Subi we can only recruit multiple point guys to replace others of the same value even if we have room in the points cap.

Correct, on all points and the fact that 100+ games does generates more points.
