I'm not sure who is the biggest threat to the comp Leedy....my club or yours?

Yes my point all along has been how subi have gone from a 75% win rate since 2000, to an 85% win rate over last 5 years to a 95% win rate over last 18 months. Imagine if someone else reached this marvellous benchmark they are setting for us!!! My point is that they are really now on a road to nowhere and yet they and their supporters carry on as if it is normal and good. So silly.

Ok mate, no doubt you guys with bigger brains will rip into my simplistic opinion, but this is it. I follow Subi, always have. I’m just a supporter. A bloke runs out in a Subi jumper and I cheer for him. I want the club I support to win, I’m rapt at how good they are and love every minute of it.
How it affects the competition? I used to care a lot. But now I am so disillusioned with the people who run the show I’m over it. I have worked out years ago that it’s just turning into something that I don’t like. So I stepped away. I follow from a distance. My father was a member at Subi for 56 years and I got to 37 years a member until I had to watch my team lose those two GFs to the Circus that was Peel. Tried talking to the president about it but got treated with contempt. So I walked away, I care a lot less and I feel better for it as I watch its relevance slip further away. I flew internationally to watch last years grand finals - was all three premierships. And it felt like a good time to close the book on that chapter of my life. Singha, firstly thank you for your service to the wafl, that is an impressive family history of support. But the peel thing got addressed with the cap of 12 for finals now. I still care about the wafl and think it can improve but the new question is subi, not peel.

STT: you will correct me if i am wrong, but the way I read the rule the question of PA has not been addressed; if two AFL clubs make the finals in Victoria, there is no restriction on their side in the WAFL

No restrictions on wce is there? Re peel you are right they are unlimited if freo still in finals. Haaaaa. In other words I think subi a bigger problem than freo being in gf.

Mate you see it is so bad that all we want to do is make finals. Pathetic hey, if I wasn’t one of us I would feel sorry for me.

One last point. Having teams in the competition that don’t care if they win or not is a much bigger problem then however good Subi are. Destroys relevance and the comp loses integrity. And the contempt I see from Fremantle and West Coast to the competition is a disgrace. Peel turning out a reserves team in that finals loss to WP a few years ago is a great example.
