Seems appropriate for the mess they got themselves into. Fong the new boss.

Who are the other members, Brian Burke and Julian Grill with the Smiths Beach resort as the major sponsor!

And approved and appointed by the WAFC. Good to see ethics and standards being upheld by a government agency. Appointing a former sacked highly paid former chief of the heath department. Haven't been listening to any talk back radio today. Is anyone questioning this appointment?

NO.... in fact most people are praising it in the media, the only people I have seen questioning it are the typical Bone heads in here that have an agenda and wouldn't know shit from clay!

Has the WAFC announced it is looking into the whole issue too see if there should be repercussions for the Club (beyond organizing to write off debt and bailing the Club out) or is that it?

LOL, here is just a sample of this man's chequered history. Google and you will find many. Hence I question how he can be approached by a government agency to take over the running of a football club in dire financial straits.

And a more damming article that I vividly recall. The bloke loves spending tax payers money and awarding contracts to his mates. I find it a mind boggling appointment given the recent health department scandal involving several high ranking health bosses. Even more mind boggling is the media is quiet on this.

Yes yes of course as follows:

Players not to wear jumpers Skins
Players to have a ball and chain attached
Only allowed to field 10 players inc only one on the bench
WP members not allowed to watch game
If we happen to win a game players to sing EP song( this is a bad one)
If we happen to win a game points to be given back to loosing side

There you have it..

Falcon, The bone heads as you call us are questioning the appointment of a person whose record of management is to put it politely littered with misdemeanors.

The press are not going to say anything other than be supportive given the need to play up the WAFL and the WAFC. The worst and other commercial outlets would not dare bag the decision for fear of being excluded by said bodies.

I raised my concerns out of concern for WP and the image they need to portray to the broader comminty and the WAFL community.

If he does a good job great but if there are any shenanigans then the WAFC has put you in a bad situation.

I don’t think you need to worry Grumps, there are others on that new board that are more than capable of overseeing the whole operations.
Just be careful what you say on a public forum...
