I don’t disagree falcon, Subi have been handed the golden chalice for years that has resulted in flag after flag. It really isn’t a lot to do with fantastic management, it’s about their access to easy $. It’s a bit unfair on the comp, but it is what it is. Can you honestly say that if WestPerth was in the same position, they would knock it back. I don’t think so. I don’t think any club would.

Na that would look crap, but I got an idea for a new $ubi jumper , green with yellow sash, green is to represent $100 dollar bills and yellow for $50 dollar bills, and put fuel cards around the edges... lol

So 58 are you and bird brain... sorry Falcon...saying Subi shouldn't have seats at the oval which was their physical and spiritual home for 100 years? If that's the case then you are also saying that Melbourne Footy Club/MCC shouldn't have seats reserved at the MCG. Subi paid the WAFC for those seats even though they probably could have negotiated them for free as part of relinquishing the lease to have them available for Subi members just like the MCG but entered into a commercial arrangement instead.

BC those seats should of been offered to all 8 clubs, not just one because of some type of compensation, what compensation did we get for Leederville oval? Fark all

No BC, I’m not saying you shouldn’t have had some compensation. I’m saying it was a bit skewed by those concerned with the setup. I also said that it is what it is, so by saying that, we all just have to live with it. While it would have been nice to have a slice of the pie, I’m not going to get all uptight Over it - I’ve got bigger things in life to get concerned about. I just look forward to when we knock you off in a GF......lol

FMD Falcon....for about the 100th time on this site...they WERE offered to all clubs but only Subi could make it work on a commercial basis because of the social premises at the back of the 3 tier stand where they could offer packages of lunch, a guest speaker and drinks all in one. Those rooms were built and paid for by SFC back in the early 70's. For other clubs, they would have to do something similar away from the ground and bus people in and that just didn't work. Surely it's not that hard. Subi paid for those seats, made money early on but lost out towards the end. The overall result was good for Subi….no argument there but as mentioned...why wouldn't we want to get a benefit from our home ground of 100 years? If the Board got anything less I'd be asking questions.

Seems WAFC took serious action yesterday. President and Board turfed out of power.
Seems appropriate for the mess they got themselves into. Fong the new boss.

Who are the other members, Brian Burke and Julian Grill with the Smiths Beach resort as the major sponsor!
