I went along mate and most fans I saw were either West Perth or Swans, a couple of Demons. 1 Tiger and that's about it
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

Great to see WA power on in the last quarter and have a win over the Vics. The first time in twenty odd years. Attendance was disappointing and from what the tv showed, the ground and facilities could have been better. I thought a good standard of game. The WA team seem to be pacing themselves in the first three quarters and seemed full of confidence in the last.

ok.....lets word this game simpler.....pick the odd one out from above.....the first person to provide me with the correct answer, will win Cardy's playstation 3 console ......I have a feeling he doesn't need it, want it or knows what to do with it! ;)

Yeh Bugger run out of HDMI ports anyway. Have my Boxee on one and my WDTV on the other. Dont need any more technology anyway. I have a offer already so no problem disposing of it.
Odd one out Johnson but I wont enter because I dont want to win.

Looking forward to the NORMAL WAFL this week. Neutral so off to the CLA V EF game should be interesting as EF certainly have something to play for.[/quote]

sorry cardy that is the wrong answer anyway mate.....sorry that you didn't win the prize you aleady own mate....that's a real shame!!

If you are happy to have sold your sold to the devil incarnate that is your choice, but don't get too upset when a justified level of opprobrium is cast that way.

you are wrong it is not tongue in cheek.paul johnson played for us last year before the host club and was a revelation.one of the best eastern states recruits we have ever had.i would put glen robertson and john burns from the seventies in the same league.doubt he played like this when he was at swannies when he was a young pup.he has matured by being in the afl system for many years.he hasn't been at the swannies for nearly a decade so don't try to take credit for him.he is a credit to himself in playing to his best ability and i wish more eastern staters would come over with the same attitude rather then a treating thw wafl as a paid holiday.

The odd one out is Ames - he is the only player from swans zone? And played his usual solid game he did. This game shouldn't have been in Northam, to see the coaching staff on the back of trucks was pretty pathetic.

My thought exactly. And what looked like yellow sand and hessian type fencing in some areas? Looked as if the ground was not quite ready? Not sure what all the millions of dollars being spent on?
Although have to admit the playing surface looked great.

and just to add my two cents worth, having worked for the State side on Saturday I have to say that without exception they were the most professional and well mannered group of players that I have ever worked with, that includes the visiting AFL teams during the 80's and 90'.

The coaching and management folks were equally professional and Marc Webb is an outstanding talent in the coaching game.

The team was very positive all the way though the preparation and game and understood that the Vics had spent their pennies a little early.

Wade Twoomey was the best player but it was to separate any of 5 or 6 players.

A very proud day for me to be able to contribute to the process and players welfare!

twice as many as SD BH ;) ......good to see SD contribute to the cause though mate...Reckon EF could of had one more fella in Hase too.....kicked another lazy 3 goals for a losing Northampton side on the weekend....what do some fellas have to do to earn a state jumper these days? :P ..

though I reckon EF contributing 9 fellas to the u/18's squad is tad ridiculous......no wonder why opposition folk are moaning so much about EF zone riches.
