Maybe others can relate their most memorable match that their side has been involved in.
Mine goes back over 20 years when East Perth and East Fremantle were playing at PERTH OVAL.
East Perth were leading at every break in fact they increased it. At 3 quarter time they were over 7 goals in
front. East Fremantle kicked a couple of goals to reduce the margin slightly before East Perth kicked one,
I thought at this stage that the game was over but East Fremantle kept coming, at one stage the scores were equal until Jeff Morris soccered the ball and scored a point which was the final score

West Perth v East Freo at Subi, 1985. Menaglio's 150th, East Freo had won 11 or so straight, West Perth bringing some hope to us long suffering supporters. Kick after the siren for Mainwaring to win it, some beautiful work on the mark by John Duckworth to creep up about 15 metres, Mainwaring misses, great win Cardies. We were a big chance that year if we got a shot at East Freo, unfortunately were never going to be able to match it with Subi, ultimately limped into the finals and got belted by Swans.

86 maybe, Leederville v Claremont, late in the game West Perth roughly 40 points down. George Michalczyk poleaxed by Owen at the Tech school end. George stretchered off, West Perth turn it on for the next 12 minutes or so and come away with the win.

Vaguely recall some epic encounters against Swans at Subi oval, one when so called tough man Boucher took to Michalczyk, wasn't so keen when Ben Jager had a crack at him

1996 grand final, the game, the fights, Laine Spencer and Chris Gerryn going at it all day, the last mark of the day by spencer when all the EP players thought he would punch like he had all day and then the camaraderie after the final siren, everyone knew they had seen or been part of a truly great game! Worse thing for me was Laine is my nephew and he was supposed to play for EP but his dad decided Claremont was better for him, if he had been at EP he would have been drafted
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended

LOL... certainly got a bath from Andy Holmes that day....but that pales in comparison to the 15 goals Craig Starcevich kicked on me from CHF in the pouring rain in the early 80's......like I said mate after 78 my career went definitely south!

Like Freeze the East Perth zone.1982 Grand Final at Perth Oval.Morley Police Boys beat ST Marks College.Who had not lost a game all season and had 175% percentage. Craig Starksavitch 1990 Collingwood Premiership player and a few others that made it to East Perth, all grades. Huge win and upset.

Duckworth was the offending player with regard to the free kick that gave Mainwaring the shot on goal. It was a clothesline not out of place in the WWF. The umpiring too was also out of the wrestling. West Perth players were allowed to wander across the mark without risk of penalty and as the umpire had his back turned stole quite a few metres. Don't know who the umpire was but he certainly showed his colours that day.
