Cracker game Keene Bucky combo was pretty good shame they never teamed up for us. Bring back the 15 fk off the 50 worst rule change ever

Yeh exactly, the 15m penalty was enough, shows how soft the 50m penalty is nowadays! That smother at the finish by Blackwell is a classic & Macnishs reaction to Buckys goal sticks in the memory too, although he always carried on like that, I played an intraclub hame with Subi in 93 whilst trying out with them when Solin was coach and I kicked a goal, Macnish was jumping around all over me like an idiot haha, he waa a ripper bloke along with Dargie, Spider and The Banfield brothers

Back when $ubi were at least likeable.
Gees mate you've had more clubs than Chris Maguire!! :P

Hahaha yeh mate 8 all up including Sunday league and Ammos :P

State of Origin will never return. But interstate footy could become important again if it became meaningful and was played for a prize of Australian State champions, especially with the demise of that awful Foxtel Cup. Just as an example, 6 states could be in 2 divisions. WAFL SANFL and VFL in Division 1. Tas Qld/NT and NSW/ACT In Division 2. Each team plays 2 games per year. Team finishing on top of Division 1 is named Australian champions for the year. Top team from Div 2 replaces bottom team from Div 1 for the following year. Make state footy meaningful and it might just get a following again. It would also give state-based players more of a chance to play at that higher level against the best players outside the AFL.

Its up to the AFLPA, if they all agreed to play and there was enough coin in it through TV rights etc then it would happen and could happen regardless of what the clubs say. Brian Waldron ex AFL footy admin has stated this and said off the record many many players are keen

I would 100% rather live in the past in comparing this modern soft joke of a game that the VFL has concocted

It's purely derived to suit corporations , the braindead masses who are easily shaped & themselves

This business of kicking backwards like soccer is a disease , the cost of attending looks like a sick warped joke

If the bloody legends like Toddy , Browny , Percy , Polly know it's wrong and even the likes of SA's Ebert are saying it - then it's rotten
