There is no place for it in the AFL calendar.Regardless of what you think, or wish it will never return. It is like the hope, wish, folorn dream, call it ever you like that you have for the WAFL to return to former glory. It will never happen. Both are dead and buried.
Your attempt at humour over the WCE ams was noted but wasn't very funny.
There are what if, what used to be and what never will be.and those that think like that live in a dream world of fantasy.

So Einstein if the WAFL is "dead and buried" as you so eloquently termed it where is your beloved VFL going to get 25-30% of it's playing stock from as that is the current percentages who have come from the WAFL?
A bit like living in the fantasy world Fremantle fans have of them actually winning a Premiership in any of our lifetimes!

Cracker game Keene Bucky combo was pretty good shame they never teamed up for us. Bring back the 15 fk off the 50 worst rule change ever

Yeh exactly, the 15m penalty was enough, shows how soft the 50m penalty is nowadays! That smother at the finish by Blackwell is a classic & Macnishs reaction to Buckys goal sticks in the memory too, although he always carried on like that, I played an intraclub hame with Subi in 93 whilst trying out with them when Solin was coach and I kicked a goal, Macnish was jumping around all over me like an idiot haha, he waa a ripper bloke along with Dargie, Spider and The Banfield brothers
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

where do they players go if they are not picked up from the colts ?
last year 6 blokes got drafted from WA that were older than colts players so does that mean they wouldn't get drafted any more ?
how will this WA Academy work ?

MO that silly old fart wouldn't have a clue.
As you pointed out there were 6 guys who were drafted last year over the age of 20 and a handful the years previous in fact those clubs with half an idea are now recognising it is less a risk than drafting 18 yo's who haven't played against men before and that some blokes like Adams/Broad et al are late maturers and this trend towards drafting players in their 20s will continue upwards in the coming years.
So anchor were would these boys go to play good competitive semi professional footy against men once they have passed the age of 18yo Einstein?

Work what out you imbecile? You have already showed your complete lack of knowledge on the WAFL with the incorrect comment that all players drafted are straight from the Colts and that is one in a long list of absurd incorrect claims you have made on it. How about just sticking to posts on your beloved Purple Shockers although you haven't got a clue about them either!

I would have that priddis would be a perfect of example of why you can't have age restrictions. In addition, the Commission will never agree to hand football over to the AFL, it simply is against their interests. There is also the legal aspect, football in this state is run in accordance with a WA statute, one which is inconsistent with running football from Melbourne.
