Any idea why they booed Michael? Could it have been the shepherd on Dave Morgan at Perth Oval?

From memory AR i dont think SM played that well in the 1st half of the 83 SOO.From memory he was jeered whenhe got kicks early in the game...Remember that hit at Perth Oval on Morgon.On SM in that state match commentator Marty Mcdonald called Wa Footy fans fickle.

Yes I do have a similar memory on Michael's play early on in the State game; just thought there might have been a few in the crowd reminding him about the Morgan incident. I am pretty sure EP kicked 10 goals in the next quarter and went on to win the game; but, naturally, I will stand corrected.

Bucky never kicked 7 in a state game, I think you may be getting him mixed up with Peake booting 7 from full forward in 86 v the Vics
