im sure ch7s ratings have plummeted.lol

You promised WP would not back down...bahaha...

Guess what they did ,,,NO Ch 9 logo...

This leaves the wafc emboldened , every club walked away from wp and sided with the wafc once it was clear Raponi was full of shit.

one wonders what Raponis future is over this shambles and what action may follow.

How much did they lose last year despite this deal,,170,000.00 wasnt it...lol

Bazza I suppose you think Peter Dutton had a good week last week as well? The WAFC is the one with ABSOLUTE NO CREDIBILITY.

yeah no worries mate

sounds a bit like the CFMEU's credibility.

Raponi forced to remove his Ch 9 logo..WAFC and Ch 7 get their way,,,

you poor old bugger , hey I notice EP will have a Ch 7 West Logo on this weekend..

Any chance of it being removed under Raponis orders?

I don't think Raponi and WP in most people's eyes have lost any credibility, I admire the club
and Raponi for hanging tough and making a stand for what they believe is the correct decision for their club. It's the least I could say for most other presidents from what I have seen reported.

Interesting that you mention that about the other presidents Dwert, I was at the Subi pre-game presidents lunch yesterday, Raponi and his guests were there as you would expect for a Presidents lunch, also a commissioner or two and when Subi Pres, Mark Lawrence got up to speak, after the formal intro of guests he said he had a strongly worded speech prepared regarding the pathetic broadcasting debacle that had become such a damaging distraction for the comp .... but seeing as WP & all parties had finally come to an agreement he would leave that speech in his pocket.

I would have loved to hear what he intended to say.

Why don't you ring the club up and ask.

I would be interested to hear as well.

Are you automatically assuming he was in full support of WP?

Stop embarrassing yourself Bazza as you really don't have a clue of the machinations that went on behind closed doors!!

The only people embarrased here are the ones that said WP and Raponi would stand firm and not back down,,guess what...

I was proven 100% right, he backed down and Ch 7 get their way my friend.

I hope to hell they beat EP otherwise they will look like complete numpties.

The problem here is people let their hysterical anti WAFC Anti Ch 7 bias guide their entire argument, only to end up in a dead end.

I look forward to those writs being served on the WAFC for restraint of trade Swan42.

I did ...unfortunately true to our clubs form I never received a response. I would have thought with such an important issue that affects the whole WAFL family and been ongoing for 12 months and not one statement from our club with a statement outlining the clubs position and hope that it would be resolveD? At least the WPFC and their President had the balls to stand up for what they believed was their clubs best interest.
Maybe with your contacts at the club you might have better luck?

Well I sure as hell wouldnt want you on my side, you would obviously shirk, slink away change tack and lie and then capitulate and think you did a great job.

Paranoia got the better of you Mark, you thought WP were in the right all along legally.

The Ch 9 Logo is GONE...something Raponi promised would NEVER happen.

So tell me Mark, if the WAFC had done a Raponi style backflip and capitulated and let the Ch 9 Logo remain..that surely would of been a win for Raponi would it not?

Cant have it both ways bubbles.

WAFC and Ch 7 won

You lost. accept it and move on.

btw EP will have Ch 7 Logo in Full TV View on their Jumpers as they have done all Season..LOL

Exposure lol, yeah I look forward to the next set of TV ratings to see Ch9's results over Ch 7's..

Weak as piss.... Why? Because Haydyn said so. Talk about the blind leading the blind.

No statement from the club to any interested members outlining the clubs position!

You must be pretty close to the decision makers Baz any chance you can ask Haydyn and co to outline our clubs position for its members?

No not by his body language, imho I think he was ready to unload on all parties for letting this debacle carry on for so long.
