Wafc will no doubt go easy on wpfc, but questions have to be asked about the deal they did contrary to wafc rules, other clubs feel abide by them but not them.

Good outcome.Nine come out of this with so much respect. Raponi has done his job and probably more. I wouldnt have clue who the major sponsor is of any WAFL Club but everyone in the world knows who West Perths is.

As no one is privy to any of the behind closed doors negotiations of this sad pathetic damaging affair, any comments on this thread are just supposition and opinion, nobody will ever know the whole truth. People who hear feedback from either side should take that with a pinch of salt as both sides will seek to take the high moral ground. The resolution is a compromise as both protagonists have given some ground to get a settlement, that is what happens most times when neither side is 100% in the right which imho is the case here. CH 9 & WP have relented and allowed an alternate sponsor for any televised games (Variety is pretty much replacing what Appealathon used to do)and the WAFC have paid Variety/Ch9 $25k as some compensation, it's as simple as that.

One side effect is that the other 6 WAFL clubs are effectively paying towards this settlement.

True to a point. Guess WAFC can afford it now with 4 finals in town. So my guess is WAFC in front n WAFL clubs will see nothing
