I agree Bazza with likely weather factors and no more marquee fixtures EP figures will drop from now on. I'm sure most other clubs will struggle too. Swans should hold up ok especially at home games they are the best positioned club to attract and keep their fan base.

Yeah all the big day games are gone, the final EF SF derby will be a non event this year again as SF slide out of finals contention. It appears Swans figures are well down considering their great start to the season, I would of thought them to be near the top, Perth have fallen away badly as well, had a promising start - would of exected more, they are looking less likely to have an impact again this year, so cant see much improvement there, another thing that has helped out this year has been the fact that claremont has been crap, as they have bugger all fans at the best of times a bad year for them has no impact, say for example they were flying and swans were second last..a hole or what??

Swans figures are actually the most consistent as other clubs are blown out by the public holiday Monday games the other week, our only low crowd was at home to Peel which is never going to attract a good crowd.

Subi +240 spectators per game from this time last year. 2,040 to 2,280.

And a bit of good timing with what will be a well attended Kalgoorlie game on the Saturday when the other WAFL matches are competing with West Coast and Fremantle live.

The WAFL probably should have fixtured a Sunday game actually for this weekend.

So would expect Subi's average to increase a bit this week.

What are you talking about, your attendances are lower than even Subis on a average basis and overall,,,thats a shocker.

The WAFL really needs to give up on the country thing, its bllody pointless , I lived in Kal 20 yrs ago , and WAFL was only just going back then as an interest for locals,,it would be rooted now,,everyones into AFL...once Fox Footy went country that was it,

Why are you so negative about everything to do with the WAFL? You seem to revel in it's failings and become even more agitated when a small win is achieved like the last two weeks.

The last two weeks have been great for the competition. To be ahead of where we were this time last year is not something anybody expected. Most expected another big fall in numbers.

Some of the people are really doing their best to try and lift the profile of the comp. Full credit to them for at least trying.

Swans home average from 6 games = 2274
Subi home game average from 5 games = 1939
and that is without playing Peel at home

Swans away average from 4 games = 2199
Subi away average from 5 games = 2619

Bazza - our home average is higher and to average over 2k away is a good effort for a club that doesnt play on the public holiday Mondays when crowd numbers get inflated.
and that is not to bag Subi as they are a club that is usually pretty consistent with crowd numbers, I am sure Perth supporters were happy with their crowd numbers when Swans travelled there.

Actually not negative at all just giving some reasons, IM actually quite postive about Subi's attendances, but as the other fella said Larry Bird, the numbers are so small now, your getting pretty pumped about these extra 7 people, I hope the WAFC doesnt take as much comfort as you from their handy work re the host club deal and the extra 7 folk..
