Might as well turn this into a bit of a contest like previous years. Good on EF for setting the early pace. Brickbat Claremont for having a number below Peel. Never seen that in all the years I've been adding these numbers up going back to footygoss in 2004.
Club Games Home Away Total Best Ave
East Fremantle 5 9793 2235 12028 3421 2,406
East Perth 6 5600 7374 12974 3440 2,162
West Perth 6 5215 7513 12728 2656 2,121
South Fremantle 6 3670 8548 12218 3421 2,036
Subiaco 5 5152 4851 10003 3440 2,001

An old sales truthism to gain greater profit:
Increase the number of buyers - get the buyer to spend more money - get the buyer to come more often
Seems to me one of the forgotten realities is rather than increase the price of the tickets - 'drop the price', increase the numbers through the gates and make the money on the spend in the ground......
Its not rocket science folks ...

Stinga have you got the attendance for the P v SD game on the Easter weekend? Would have thought that would be around 3000.
Get on your bike.

Ditto for Perth and we are away again this weekend!!

Then we have 4 at home in a row,i think they are pissed when they do the fixturing,i mean how hard can it be.
On top of that you then play teams 2 or 3 weeks again after a bye,the same team twice in a fortnight??Pass the VODKA...hiccup.

it cant be that difficult. When peel entered the wafl in 1997, the fixtures albeit unbalanced, were at least basically in proportion. Every game was spaced out correctly, byes were basically once every 2 months or thereabouts.

its not hard, have a look at the wafl site and you can see for yourselves.

How they do the fixtures now is just ludicrous and they have no excuse for it. It had been done correctly 16 years ago, then they went stupid. They seriously have no idea about much at all. Im baffled by what legacy Dorro has left. Its like one of the Sci-Fi movies when the aliens rip through a city and leave a smouldering mess.

Saw that when looking at the fixtures the other day. Ridiculous, and did you also notice the year Claremont are probably at their weakest in 30 years we only play them twice?

They give the clubs too much say in what they want and dont want, by the time you factor that in, the AFL schedule, bloody country games, night games, short breaks , long breaks state games and fark knows what else its a mess.
