That is certainly the case at EF! Everyone is counted from the moment gates are opened for the Colts.

No one will ever produce "hard evidence" that some gate figures were decreased for small financial savings. Nor would I want to even point the finger .... even though it was admitted by a fellow poster on this forum that his club had done it.

In a way it's understandable...disappointing...but understandable.

It's a matter of believing what I was told by people within the industry or not.

I believe them. You obviously don't. It's as simple as that.

UFO's at Bassendean eh? Don't think anybody considered that one apart from you actually.

But really, it's a little bit the same as clubs paying players under the table. We all know it has most likely to have happened but try proving it. Moreover, who really wants to prove it.

Good ole' white goods, brown paper bags, cars, ...fact or fiction. We'll never know

Yes absolutely but BH was specifically referring to a colts game played the day after the league game. So it was free entry for the colts that day and nobody was working at the gate.

But as mentioned, the 300 figure is to be added onto the attendance figure in that situation.

I think from memory 150 was the number allowed for reserves under the same circumstance.

Some of the parents don't get counted because they get there too early. If their son doesn't drive they have to be there 90+ minutes before the game. No one on the gates that early.

One or two clubs have been caught out, we can only go on what we know as fact, rumours and hearsay don't amount to much.

Its interesting that nobody beleives the figures when they are low, but in 2009 when it was a good year, there was no word of doubt and everyone is singing praises. Success has many fathers , but it seems failure is an orphan.
