SD over the salary Cap. Points to be lost and rightly so if correct.

Unfortunately for Perth any penalties Swans may incur wont come till next year so we still finish above you this year.
They should penalise us player points considering we have the lowest points allocation in the comp anyway !!

Got me stuffed how this keeps happening! Don't you blokes have a calculator?

Maybe our penalty could be to have McMahon coach us in 2015 now he doesn't have a gig !

Cap is over the year, not per game. They just have to run well under the cap for the rest of the year. Some players will get upset that they can't play because they aren't allowed to get paid.

I heard the SD players haven't been paid for last year yet.
Salary cap problems???

Yep, nothing wrong with resting a few players here and there to get under the cap over the course of a season. Been done before no doubt.

This is very disappointing if true. I thought the new board was getting on top of all this stuff and yes I realise it takes a while to recover from excesses of the past. I wouldn't have thought there was too much coin flying around at Swans anyway and that's why many of the previously high paid players left in the first place?

For this to have happened - with many players leaving, some of the remaining players must have received a pay increase from last year?
