There's always hope. I think everyone has written us off this year, which is good. I'm trying to think of which West Coast Perth players from last year really stood out as irreplaceable. I think we have picked up some good talent to replace some of them.

I agree shark. There was no consistent AFL players for us last season.

The Foundation Derby was our biggest disappointment by far. From memory we had a healthy percentage it was those games we dropped from bad kicking that cost us a spot in the finals.

Games played from our AFL listed players last season:-

Brennan 8...nothing special.
Brown 4...cant remember any of those games.
Dalziell 6...ditto.
Dick 11...One dominant game against Subi.
Duffy 12...well below his best when fit.
Howsen 3...still raw.
Kerr 3...classy in all 3 with limited ground time.
Sheppard 5...handy but replaceable.
Simpson 9...great 1st derby but still raw.
Sutcliffe 4...as per Brown & Dalziell.

Duffy & Dick played the most but were hardly consistent. Dick kicked a bag against Subi and Duffy was off the ground more than on it.

I think we can play finals this year but time will tell I suppose.
