Just as a matter of interest, and I don't wish to pry if it is something else, was the reason you are no longer a member due to the alignment?

yes it was.

have not attended a game this year, nor has my family. ive seen EP on tv a few times. i love my club but its been a strange year. when we have lost games it doesnt hurt much, nor do i get overly frustrated. my general feel has deminished somewhat. its hard to explain

at my house i have a bar with a real EP theme. when we sit at the bar with a beer we look at all our EP memories. we have so much great stuff from past era'a. right back to Mal Brown getting chaired off the ground in 1972. whatever has now happened and will continue to happen, my memories are just wonderful. yes EP is my club, always will be. but im not happy about things right now. i worry about the other clubs moreso and hope they can prosper. it seems our financial position will be fine now, so my thoughts are with the 7 traditional clubs. i want the wafl to prosper. i still think it will be ok, but without solid confidence.

Thats f&cked Jards, If it was WP I would take a similar stance but it would kill me as WP are a big part of my make up and amongst many people I interact with in life, they automatically link the WPFC to me. My Dad past away recently and we would go to the footy together up until 6-7 years ago when he was no longer capable of going.

I have not talked to a single ordinary EP person that likes the alignment. Some feel it would be better to go under, others feel it is better than folding. The WAFL clubs had their chance for a better outcome but the usual short sighted attitudes won out. If you guys are unhappy now wait a year or two for some real pain.
