I vote for Fremantle oval. Best environment around the ground and most picturesque ground. That said I have nothing against any of the other venues except Joondalup and Peel are a bit far away. Claremont would be too small. Leederville, my second choice. If Souths get an advantage, they deserve it for having the best atmosphere. Bassendean is pretty cool too but the pub is shut. 

Bassandean for me, great ground,  .....perhaps even MRP for proximity to all teams.....especially as Perth won't be in the GF, best neutral ground of all the teams playing finals.

Freo oval's had it's turn, Either Leederville or Basso. Leederville more central, good parking, good public transport, lots of pre and post game entertainment venues plus more cover than Basso, but the surface is a bit problematic. But wont get much use after the home and away season finishes so plenty of recovery time.

Freeze is on the money,Bassendean..Could be like the 1980's premiership wins or 2010..Setting up tarps and tents on the ground after the game.And hopefully they run to the morning sunlight like thoes Premiership celebrations

it's a pity the cricket took over the slot and it is a bit late in the piece to do anything now - wonder if the WACA is being considered

The amenities at Fremantle oval failed to manage in a reasonable manner with a 6K crowd for the WA day derby so how is it going to manage with 30 K?

30 000 would be a great crowd but I'd expect 15 000 or less. You'd go without expecting to buy much. Going to the toilet may be tricky. Would be a younger person's day admittedly.  Wafc  might get those portable toilets in, I suppose. 

The crowd at last years GF was 30 K so why would you expect only 15 K to attend this years GF?

I thought this issue about playing the WAFL  grand final at anywhere but Optus was dead and buried,a booking is a booking,why should our showcase game be forced aside for stupid tip and run cricket,surely the WAFC  could have legally stood their ground to play the GF on the agreed date,and told stadium authorities to tell cricket to stick it up their arse and play the pyjama game at the WACA.              

Ti Em, I'd expect 15 grand because I think the stadium is an attraction for people compared to the old wafl grounds.  I think myself and Bazza were probably wrong about that in previous debates. I like the wafl grounds just as much, but I accept I'm in the minority.
