In the second semi final, Souths currently are quoted at 1 dollar 65c. Claremont are said to be 2 dollars 10c

West Perth Don't have a debt, it was expunged in Administration.

Whichever way you look at it Souths were completely taken apart on their home ground this afternoon. Claremont had 50 more disposals and 26 more inside 50s. That is going to be tough to recover from but they do get another chance next week.

never happy going to joondy no matter who the opposition is.enjoyed the mighty royals play 4 good quarters today with and against the breeze.happy with the league results and the fact that souths arrogance/flirting with form by resting 3 players last week came back to bite them on the backside.all the best to the tigers and hope you can beat whoever you meet in the grand final.

West Perth do have a debt. $250 grand to to the W.A Commission. BTW Peel had a similar debt, that got written off.

I don't think that's right mate...Peel have paid some back but still owe around $100k to the WAFC apparently which seems ridiculous as Freo has been paying all the bills for the last several years.

Oh to be a Doggies supporter, their team seems to go missing at finals time. Everything in their favour, home ground and all but Claremont were simply better and much harder at the contest. But finishing top 2 gives you the second chance so they have time to gather themselves for a do or die game with Joondy who may not be as good away from that wind blown arctic paddock.

Bad luck to Perth, I thought they had them covered when they got 8 points up, looked like Perth had spent their petrol tickets by halfway through the last and Joondy got a couple of soft ones which really helped their cause. Not saying they weren't there but the umps had put the whistle away for most of the last quarter which made for a thrilling contest of great WAFL footy, then pulled out that soft as shite free right in front of goals and that really took the wind out of Perths sails. Real shame as Perth have added so much to this years finals.

Claremont deserve to be favourites now - we were never in it and once more face a huge fight to stay alive
could be a West Perth v Claremont GF after all
