Not only that mate after the Budgies play their 1 final there it will sit idle for the next 6 months at least as CA look like playing all of the cricket on the East Coast this summer due to the quarantine restrictions in place in WA.
What a waste of our $1.5 billion dollar showpiece world class stadium just sitting there gathering dust until March 2021 at the earliest.

Its a one off and SFFC need to make the most of it, win the game and bank some cash. be a tough 2021 on the balance sheet.

The proceeds from this Fremantle Oval GF are supposed to be shared equally amongst all of the WAFL clubs I had heard!

Thats usually the case BH, gate receipts are shared but the Doggies will get their bar takings to themselves as every other hosting club in the minor finals does.
For example, if they get 5k paying punters at Freo at say $15 each thats $75k between 9 clubs or $8,333.00 each, better than a poke in the eye with a burnt stick!!.

They are - infact SFFC get a flat 10K a year from the catering contractor ( bennys) now and what ever they make they keep ( this is members bar sales) so there is no extra to make there besides in private conterie groups like Centurions etc , then theres Merchandise Sales - none of those types of sales will be shared. ( assuming SF make it)

Then theres the fact that after the game many more will hang around ( I dont think the catering contract with Bennys works the same way for a GF win )

Everything else shared I guess.

Imagine what the return per club would be at Perth Stadium from a 30,000 attended GF at $25 a ticket each which would definitely be on the cards if Perth get through?
Minus that $100k price tag to play there of course!

Gate and sundry will be split amongst everyone as per the system thankfully
bar has to be separated - won't be monstrous with the restrictions in fact it'll be an absolute bastard getting the sherbets
but that's something not shared

I think you'll find all the clubs participating in the Finals is my understanding of it. But I could be wrong

I have not seen the Bennys Contract, if it includes Finals Games as well, I imagine it may, although its an extraordinary year with the GF being played there, so maybe that would not be included and an extra deal will have to be done, I imgine it would be as post GF sales traditionally make a decent sum for the club.

Sales outside the members may well be handled differently.
