It was interesting watching Tim Gossage and Lachy Reid on Ch 10 compare their top 5 Eagles, Dockers, sporting moments, Wildcats and so on. It got me thinking as to whom is my top 5 Subi players this century. I'm using that timeframe as they're still relatively fresh in my memory and I'd be interested in getting thoughts of posters from other teams on their own respective clubs.

For mine from Subi it would be:

1. Kyle Horsley
2. Ali Pickett
3. Matt Priddis
4. Brad Smith
5. Aiden Parker

Who would be the top 5 players from your clubs...not necessarily your favourites but who was the best in your opinion?

bc -- a good thread and a good list; I might of put dellahunty in ahead of Parker, but your right, the CHB was a great player for us.

Yes AR...it was a tough one leaving out the likes of Darren Rumble, Sam Menegola, Liam Ryan, Dela and even Mark Haynes...but you have to draw the line somewhere.

Is it on their WAFL career BC or on their football ability/afl career included?

I can't cut it down to 5, nothing really stands out apart from Ross Young. There are a couple there that I really rated highly and one only played one season but had an outstanding season and got drafted off it. Justin Perkins.

A few players played as much if not more AFL but played a lot of games for the Demons. What i found looking through each list from each season was how much the quality has dropped off in the last 4 or 5 years. I could only add CJ and Sinclair from that recent/current era.

hard to argue with that list BC, maybe should expand it to top 10 as guys like Dela, Liam Ryan, Newick, Cockie, Broughton, cossom and Desi Haynes get a mention, but the list could go on
