I believe the last time was probably Barry Hall on Brent Staker circa 2008 tugboat.

Taking premiership points off the club seems somewhat drastic for an isolated incident. I am also curious about the continual reference to the incident being a punch from behind. Can anyone that isn't in the yellow and maroon actually confirm that?

Also on drug testing, some clubs struggle to get numbers as it is, drug testing could wipe out large portions of multiple clubs PH, not necessarily the ones you'd expect either.

I highly doubt that a Gosnells club member is going to jump on here and admit that it was a punch from behind don’t you?? That was the reason of being rushed to hospital because of the blow from behind and how dangerous that can be ... like I mentioned there was another lad that got knocked unconscious previous but from front on but after being checked over wasn’t taking to hospital, last thing we want to be doing is calling ambulance every knock our boys get but when it’s as dangerous as what happened in the last qtr we had no choice

Geez Seahawk, the Barry hall thing was bad but I wouldn't call it a coward punch, I still rekon big bad bazza slipped. If your ok with shit like that just come out and say it... No biggie.
10 years is good for the peak body, if u want to count that one. Other than that I reckon your going back to the 70's.

Either way , coward punching is wrong, really wrong , no excuse. Supporters coming onto the field is wrong, really wrong.
Instead of good souls like me trying to tell u what a shit _$nt the guys were, why don't u educate us on the social stance he made which entailed a slap to the face to the Quinn's player?

So I understand B7 being agitated and understandably so as he is obviously associated with Quinns. You on the other hand tend to be pulling no punches (I say tongue in cheek), which I find peculiar since I don't believe you have an association with the club. Do correct me if I'm wrong with that statement though. Does this topic fire you up particularly for some reason or have we just been skipping the blood pressure meds?

Regardless of tonight’s outcome we can’t just move on from this....we have to learn from it. All of us in the football community from presidents to committee members to coaches have an ABSOLUTE responsibility to put a stop to this kinda crap. Kids are leaving our game in huge numbers for whatever reason it might be....we can’t let violence on the field be one of them.
