Just got an email from the Stirling President - they are no longer in E2. Just a heads up to everyone as this wasn't 100% confirmed.

You beat me to it, I just spoke with Geoff Palmer and he confirmed this and for everyone's else's benefit he said that the forfeit and 2 byes will go ahead for this coming weekend but following this they are going to look at refixturing the remainder of the season so as that there will be no byes......further to this the top 5 for finals will remain as is.

Anybody know what is going on with the apparent restructuring of the fixtures?

Personally I'd like to play, but I'd also like another 90-1 win to boost our finals chances.

Plus, when we were informed of Wembley pulling out a lot of our players, myself included, made plans for this weekend so I think with only a couple of days notice we are going to find it really difficult to get a team up this week.

Not really fair on the competition when 2 of the teams have already received their second 90-1 win against Wembley. Have a bye for all the teams, or don't. Can't have half/half (or 2 vs 6).

I agree CantKick, Collegians have received 16pts from forfeits so far this seaso. I don't see how they can take that away from other teams and make them play with the chance of not being guaranteed the 4pts when other teams have already had the forfeits??? Just leave the fixture how it is and then there can be no complaining.

On another note, would like to know how Kingsway dominated Forrestdale on Saturday? Injuries at the Dale or Kingsway just too good?? I have noticed that Collegians & Kingsways higher reserves teams are not doing too well so I'm expecting an influx of those players maybe dropping back to their E2 teams in time for finals maybe??

At the Swannies we get raped & pillaged by our Reserves team & Fifos each week but luckily we have a few extra numbers to fill the void each week.

Just quickly boyz the fixtures are remaining as is for the rest of the season so byes/forfeits will be in place still.....I'll give a right up on our game against Forrstdale later this arvo!!

Great hard game at the dale on the weekend and swans old man. Definitely not the case with kings way mate. Our lineup has barely changed for 10 weeks.

Word has it fixtures will stay as they are.... as not all clubs could agree on a fair way of re-fixturing it so no club is disadvantaged !

Sleath - Basically Kingsway have been hit with a massive number of injuries in both the league & ressies this whole season with the league having had nearly 35 players and the ressies nearly 50 play games. With such a big number of players missing, the colts have had players play up in the ressies and league with the Kingsway E2 side also having to get players to play Ressies just so they could fill a side from week to week. They have also had colts players play E2 to cover the players that go up so it has basically been to fill gaps and get the sides on the park

I think you will find that the E2 players playing up are only there to cover the injured players which is how it works at most clubs. If you go back and look at the E3 stats from last year, you will see that the majority of players playing ressies this year actually played E2 last year and when the injured players start coming back, these guys will go back and play in their correct grade

Yes the lineup has changed but only with E2 players playing up to coover injuries. Face the fact that they are a good side
