Surely with two Teams pulling out the waafl would reshuffle the fixtures so everyone plays every week instead of two teams having the bye .... would that not make sense ???

Yep 3 weeks off for us too.
I know its hard for the league to know what will happen but the fixtures this year are the worst iv ever seen. To let 2 teams come in late that cant field a side is a joke.
Well done to forrestdale on the weekend. Best game iv been a part of for a few years.
For what its worth i think Collegians are the ones to beat

Tight games always a good one maybe they rested some players I have been told they have lots of numbers

I think you will find both Brentwood and Collegians kicked 11 goals too. The game was played in really great spirts. Went down to the wire and we managed to hold it up in our forward line. I initially thought we had lost by 4 points, but alas we had won.

All comes down to my mark in the goal square and kick about 15cm over the guy on the mark, I think. Pretty sure I double kicked it, counts as 2 possessions surely.

In all seriousness, was a great game and most of the Collegians boys stayed behind for the awards and beers after the game. Number 20 (I think) even picked up our coverted 6 pack of Carlton Dry award.

With all the forfeits would you think that any E2 teams expecting a forfeit play a friendly against the E3 team due for a bye? Everyone still gets to have a kick.
I see Canning South Perth from E3 forfeited. is this the first time for them?

Just wanted to stop by and apologise to Kingsway for the forfeit on the weekend. We only had 9 available on Friday afternoon and just couldn't get any more. A few guys away and the timing of the Eagles game hurt us.

It was a shame because it was on the back of the best game of E2 I can recall in a long time against Collegians who embody what the E2 Conference is about - playing and having a bit of fun, not taking it too seriously or trying to hit anyone late or off the ball. My thanks to you Collegians.

In other news we already have 14 for this week so it will be game on against the big dogs Forrestdale who are looking to rebound big time after their first loss.

Well I thought it might be time to enter into the conversation and friendly banter on here and must say its great to see that there's some good interest in the E2 Division.

First of all your apology is accepted CKCH....although disappointed as we all were not to have had a kick on the weekend it did give us a chance to go and watch our other teams play.

Now onto the forfeit itself.....I received the phone call Friday night and believe your team was decimated with numbers due to one of your boys getting married on Saturday, didn't yous forfeit the first game of the season for the same reason.....who gets bloody married during footy season lol....I think some peoples priorities are mixed up, or maybe there 2IC's have a firm grip on their knackers lol

Anyway back onto the weekends games......very interesting result with Collegians and the league leaders.....does anyone have any info regarding this, did Collegians have all their players back or are Forrestdale starting to come back to the pack a little.

Yes that is correct. A lot of the team is made up of a few groups of friends so when someone has an event of this nature we are normally decimated. I feel we may be forced to the brink of a forfeit again soon if the intentions of my fellow forum exponent in E2BandF are to be believed that he'll be dropping knee quite soon.

My understanding is that Collegians are unbeatable at home, but can not seem to get their best 22 on the road.

Hopefully we're able to put up a good showing against Forrestdale on the weekend and should give us a good indication of where we're at for the season.
