I believe ^ and about was making a point "Mighty V" that had you not had your pants pulled down this year that you would not be weighing into this argument....

I'm glad someone with a bit of common sense can read my point as it's the same deal with Lenko. Had they not lost both finals to our respective league and Ressies sides in last finals series Noranda would be down in C3s and I bet either of you guys would have bought into this argument .

I'll confirm for the 3rd and final time and in detail. There is no formatted plan that we openly discuss regarding the issue raised in this forum. This being said if there is something going on chances are 95% (myself included) of club affiliations would have no idea. I would be bitterly dissapointed if this was the case however as I mentioned in previous posts , without having witnessed any factual evidence that confirms these allergations are indeed correct I can only comment on my knowledge of the selection process week to week as I know it.

All,

I have no idea why all of a sudden our footy club is being dragged into this C2 topic re Noranda playing players under different names? We are in C3 and have nothing to do with this current situation.

As with comments being about us being bitter over our Preliminary Final loss last year, let me personally clarify those stupid comments. Yes as a football club we were very disappointed to yet again let a golden opportunity to slip in the finals & to go our in straight sets is certainly not what football clubs work so hard to achieve. But we give credit where credits due & Noranda certainly played the better footy that day & are now are a deserving C2 club. The Eels however have had a much tougher year with the results, however we have blooded quite a lot of younger players into League footy this year & will continue to work towards setting a strong platform for the future. Massive credit to our junior committee for assisting us with this & full credit to our coaching staff for remaining strong with their direction.

I hardly post on here and definitely don't need to hide behind a keyboard name. I was formally involved with Noranda during the early days & I definitely can't speak for the current group but I know Jay, Shezza, Dan, Dave, Juddy, Boz & the team worked extremely hard early on & should take a bit of credit for the way they set the club up in the early years. I am sure that I speak for all of those blokes that if the Hawks are going down the path to play players under different names then that would go against all the values installed in the club early on & I hope this is not the case.

Let's leave this topic now as I among many feel this has gone on far too long & if the Hawks are guilty then the WAAFL should be dealing with it. It's pretty simple fix really to eliminate any doubt & that's bring back the ID cards for all players. Sure there's a bit of work but it stops these kinds of things happening.

All the best to all clubs for the remainder of the year.

Regards

Ronnie Hobbs

Nah, you're right. ^ and about and I probably have more in common than I'm prepared too admit. So here's the confession. I'm a cheat too. I did it and it felt good.

In year three at, duncraig primary, we were told if we didn't know our times tables we wouldn't pass into year 4!(It was the 80's, it was Ok to make kids feel like failures). Mum had put up the tables poster on the back of the toilet door, but I was more interested in getting past a double ton in the backyard against my brothers, than sitting on the shitter memorising the bloody times tables. So I didn't put in the time. I had a secret that I knew was going to get me thru.

From where I sat in class I could see, through the glass window in the door, into the next classroom where they had the same times table poster on display! "You Beauty!". So come test time with a slight lift of the eyebrow, I had all the answers right in front of me. In record time I finished the test. Bang. I sat back and relaxed.

"Jeremy!" came the call from Mr Payne.(Because that's my name you see. Jezza-Lenko, you see what I did there?) "Shit!" I thought. I'm Sprung!

"If you have finished the test, bring the paper up the front and do not disturb the other children"

At the end of the day tests came back. Mr payne put the sheet of paper on my desk, facedown, as he walked past handing out the results. Slowly I turned it over. Tick, tick tick all the way down the page. 100%! Three red smiley face stamps and a gold star! ( I once saw Melissa get 2 gold stars, but any way.....).

When I got home that night, Mum asked how the test went. I got a bit of a sad face on and handed her the paper. She gave me that look back that says "oh-no, what's happened" and took the paper. Her face lit up and I think she started to jump a little. "Oh look at you! My little math-a-magician!". She's such a dag. Big celebration hugs all around, dirty looks off the brothers, job done. With great pride, for me and herself for putting the poster on the back of the toilet door, Mum put the tainted test up, in pride of place on the fridge, under her favourite magnet.

Next Year, in year four, my maths form slumped a bit. Never really got back to the dizzying heights of three red smiley faces and a gold star and was quite disappointing after comimg in to that year with such a strong reputation.

So you see ^ and about, I can really relate to what's happening down there at Noranda. Maybe we could be mates after all.

Your story has holes in it Lenko.....how could you have possibly racked up double tons against the brothers with such poor maths skills

Shhhhhiiittt story Lenko, you have just had your president get on here wondering how Ellenbrook got dragged into this and Ronnie Hobbs... this is why

A strong reputation put forward by a bloke shooting his mouth and tapping the keyboard with all sorts of junk, no-one actually knows who Forward 50 is and the possibility of him not even being from Noranda is greater than the likelihood of anyone ever reading another of your posts after that.

In closing as I, alike your el presidente have had enough of this for the time being, sit back and talk about the under achieving Noranda (this year) as you wish, it took a mighty big win last year to get to be in the position the club is in now... one that you certainly cant draw any similarities to.

Enjoy
