I noticed in one of your earlier posts Foward50 you mentioned being loyal to the club by not leaving half way through the current season....Mate to be honest, having personally represented the club as a player through all grades since our inaugural year in ammo's, it's safe to say you are two faced fuck wit and based on the rubbish you feed the local football public
on these forums, the loyal thing to do would be to either reveal your self and take issues you have to the comity or even better piss off and go and work on trying to burn another clubs name. The constant lies and change of direction for a aimed at the jumper you put on and play for each week tells me that no one that plays our great game could be as low and unfaithful as the disgrace that you are. My guess is that you are a fat old washed up hack that just jumps on forums to start spot fires, I'll tell you what though ( so called fellow team mate)and this is also directed to any of your followers or haters of our great club , you don't phase us one bit. United we stand down at the Hawksnest and we WILL play in C2s again next year avoiding relegation which is a big win for us one we are extremely proud of.
Obviously we knew we would be in for a test coming off a purple patch that resulted in promotions in successive years and although this year we have had to deal with a few frustrating issues out of our control (not excuses) such as social media speculation which generated unwarranted high expectations, injuries to key position players at critical stages in the season and also the loss of a hand full of big names from previous years which I might add is for no other reasons than either retirement, family commitments or work commitments ect...Those idiots that take cheap unproven stabs at our club for offering financial incentives to players, claiming the reasons behind these exits are based around the money drying up couldn't be more far from the truth and it's a funny that these allegations always seem to be initiated by clubs that have struggled with matching it with us on game day which is clearly just a form of trying to justify their loss.
There's no hiding the fact we've had our ups and downs this year and some may use the phrase "wake up call" but let's be fair not every year is a glory year and those that have lucky enough to be part of a the fantastic period of success certainly don't take that for granted. That being said there were goals set pre-season and a number of which the boxes have ticked including some extremely positive signs to take out of the season to date including some highly talented new blood arriving to impose themselves as well deserved ready made leaders , 3 of the 5 sides are finals-bound (res, colts and 3rds) and the league side fighting gallantly to get the important job done and ensuring that last years success and hard work wasn't in vein to retain the clubs current position with another crack at C2 glory in 2015 .We are now just focused on closing out the season strongly in 1s and planning our September assault in all other respective grades. For the record and to those that believe our footy club is falling apart , I hate to inform you that you couldn't be more far from the truth with the club recording a growth in registered players in 2014 and with two rounds remaining in the regular season are delighted with the positive direction the club continues to move both on and off the ground.
I am not a serial poster on footy forums but when idiots start throwing around false information about a club that continues to exceed growth expectations and has been nothing but a pleasure to be a apart of, I will go to whatever lengths necessary to defend our pride and dignity.
Although highly detailed and longwinded I hope those who take the time out to read this post understand that it is simply a build up of frustration formulated throughout the season and on behalf of all affiliated with the club is an attempt to put to bed any false rumours regarding the process and current status of our club.
My personal perspective is extremely positive with the sportsmanship and standard of footy on show this year from all clubs at home and away indicating that our local completion is good and well.
Good luck to those clubs gearing up to play finals with a special mention to the sides fighting it out for that illusive C1 promotion and here's to hoping 2015 is the year of the Hawk.
Tips:
League:Bassendean to face Carlise on the big stage with the Swans to break a rather lengthy senior flag drought and I am penciling thes in to break through to be hailed premiers in 2014.
Ressies: Our boys to face Warnbro with the Hawks second side to make it two flags across consecutive seasons .Slightly bias I know but from what I've seen it appears the dots are connecting at the right time of the year and after sending a little reminder message through the comp on Saturday putting together a near faultless performance serving up what was just short of an 100 point demolition of a noticeably out of sorts Cougars outfit .I believe there is still another gear to be shifted with an obvious sense of belief and confidence circulating through the camp. The boys next challenge is Carlisle in a couple of weeks to close out the regular season it's poised to be an attractive clash that will be a good gauge of measuring exactly where the boys are at leading into ones that matter.
Over and out....
