Interesting case as I think teams have until Monday to change the team sheet online these days? Who knows if they would have done so but by pointing it out so early maybe it gives the offending team a chance to fix the sheet before they get looked at?

You are required to change it to match what is given to the umpires (last minute changes in pen on the match day paperwork). The umpires take a photo of the match day paperwork which is submitted with scores and votes.

Correct scooby ..the player concerned was actually registered to another club though so I dont think any of that matters?

I dont know what else you can do in these things...we rang the league to ask them on the day and they told us not to approach the opposition but just to get a photo and send it to them....which we did together with the team sheet they provided showing the named player. We felt a but uneasy with this though so approached the umpires at halftime. Noranda ump confirmed that he knew the player on the team sheet and the player on the field was not him. Both umps put this in the match report...open and shut isnt it?

Interestingly the guy on the team sheet has been named in E3, D4, C2 RES and C2 lEAGUE this year......must be having a bit of trouble with consistent form .... or just a handy name?

First post on here but saw the topic and I've heard along the grape vine that apparently the same thing happened to CWP a few weeks back at SNESA. From what I've heard from my source, it was referred to the WAAFL, but I haven't heard if anything will result in the complaint.

guess it all comes down to honesty with all clubs in the end, but it sounds like there could be a few clubs who aren't holding up their end of the bargain!?

Hey Forward50 since you got so much to say about the football club why dont you tell us your name so we can discuss all the issues you have or you just gonna hide behind your name and this site and talk shit ??? Your facts are so far from the truth its laughable as who are all these players that have walked out on the club ??? And all sides are like separate clubs.... what a joke I never played at a club thats more united or where every grade supports each other or who wants each grade to be as successful as each other whether it league , ressies or thirds players and on all my encounters all players mingle and chat no matter what grade they play ..... Finally if you loved the club you would take all your issues to coaches or commitee to try to work thought the said things your so un happy about and if you dont love the club you should not pull the jumper on and instead pack your boots up and F#@* off to whatever club it is you wanna play for cause to be honest your a joke and an embarrassment to yourself.... but guess thats why you wont make yourself known Huh !

Fully agreed FFF back to player photo cards with opposition umpires checking 5 random players before every game would put an end to these issues !
