I went down to Mossy Park on Sat and watched my Basso boys perform under massive pressure from the good old cheating 23rd man in Mossie umpire. He umpired Res and League. I only got there at half time of the Res but what a disgrace he his. Clearly robbed Basso of a win and it was only due to the league side was much better than Mossy that they got home by 6goals. Should of been more. How can you Mosman Park people especially the people running the club retain this umpires services? It is doing your reputation no good at all.If the committee of Mos Park have any idea about fairness in sport they will sack him and get a replacement. One day this ump could possibly cause all in brawls etc, it will happen. Mosy harden up and do something before your reputation is worse than what it already is. This post is not sour grapes as the lads won. I just cannot believe what I witnessed yesterday. I dont label people cheats in sport normally but Mosman Park your umpire is and you guy's know it and do nothing about it! Piss poor by your committee if you dont act!

No the umpiring was Terrible from both umpires (funny how you missed that part) The only umpire that i have seen be any good this year is the young bloke from Warnbro.

Yes i have played for the club in the past hence why i defend it. I find this post sad because your umpire was borderline cheating yet i didnt make a post on here complaining about it. I moved on just like you should and every other club in the league has. This will be my last post. Have fun making excuse after excuse for your football club

Dont need excuses after a win, your comments are laughable. Good to see your moving on. Your probably the umpire. No reply needed as you have deleted your acct, apparently.

I don't think it is only Bassendean supporters complaining about this umpire I am pretty sure he has been mentioned Atleast 6 times throughout the year.

And he used to be the same at east freo when he was there, every club complained about him then.

And it isn't just the clubs and players who have issues with him I know the 2 umpires from seperate clubs last week were talking about him at their game

Just want to make clear that i am not directing any part of my post at Mosman Park, as i am not sure of their circumstances but i know at lower level leagues the umpiring job it is not always the easiest position to fill so i will hold my judgement.

I am a current player in C2 and had the umpire in question umpire a home game for Mosman Park. I believe the umpiring standard in the grade is actually quite good. Every week an umpire will make a bad call or two but almost always, part from isolated incidents, there is no remonstration from anyone as it is commonly known among players that umpires may make a mistake and are entitled to make a wrong call from time to time.

After watching a bit of the reserves game before ours it was obvious that it would be one of those games where the umpire was not going to take any shit from players, which is never a problem as long as it is a fair game of footy. Our game was fair, but this umpire still felt the need to try and influence the game so blatantly Mosman Park's way.

Looking on the stats we could put 4-5 goals down as being directly influenced by the umpire. There would be fair 50/50 contest in the middle of the ground and somehow a free kick would be plucked from nowhere and both sides would look at each other and the umpire and ask who's free kick is it? A single comment of 'what was the free kick for' would lead to a 50m penalty which would result in a goal. This happened not just once but numerous times, and only Mosman Park's way.

You 'may' expect this sort of umpiring in under 12's. Almost never have I been involved in a win and had a coach/team discussion after the game on the umpire. It was not a slagging session, but on how we can improve as a side to not have a umpire have an such effect on mind set as a team.

This is exactly what happened on Sat JZ for both games. It was a disgrace and could cause on field problems for less disciplined sides. Players dont mind losing , if it is fair , but when its not there could be issues that arise. The club/league needs to do something to ensure a fair and equal game is played.
