Pretty sure a few guys from rival clubs writing all this stuff.

I am from Thornlie and we know exactly how hard it will be for us make no mistake.

Ocean Ridge have been good all year as have all the teams above us.

I am pretty sure every club will have players returning or injured etc etc and everyone has a chance come finals

Good Luck to all sides who are playing.

Hey I also reckon kingsway are up and about aswell number 14 for them is a key player!! Absolute gun they reckon ;) Thotnlie has beat them twice though and both times #24 cruised around taking pack marks across half back and is a very important asset to them by the looks of things.. he is one of the best in the comp!!!!

Jones, I wouldnt be looking too much into a kingsway game as much as i would be into an ocean ridge game, you boys havnt jumped them yet this season... remember, you lose one game and your out! wouldnt want that to be your first!

Pretty sure Jones is an impostor stirring sh#t.

As per my last post we respect every team in the top 5 especially OR as they have a good disciplined team.

Well after sitting top of the ladder for 17 rounds (at 1 stage they were 2 games and about 50% points clear of 2nd) Kingsley have had the wobbles of late and instead of having a week off to refresh themselves they find themselves facing Wanneroo in the qualifying final after Kingsway replaced them atop the ladder after they thumped CWP by over 100 points on the weekend. Would love to hear from anyone involved in the Kingsley / Wanneroo camps to see what happended on the weekend and to see if they think Kingsley can reverse the result this weekend and earn a crack at Kingsway in the 2nd semi final.

The other final this weekend should be a cracker between Thornlie & Ocean Ridge. With this being an elimination final their will be no love lost between the 2 and with a forecast temperature expected of 26 degrees should be a real slog.

As it stands at the moment i will select Wanneroo purely based on they beat Kingsley last weekend and i think that Ocean Ridge may be too strong for Thornlie however OR have only played 1 game in a month due to the forfeits which may work against the but im pretty sure both games will be close!

Watching the kingsley v roos game was a beaut, was played like a real final, one on one footy and tough contested footy for the whole game. Both sides seemed undisciplined at times, even the kingsley coach got amoungst it and gave a free kick away for abuse.
Next week when they play, both teams will need to be mindful that the mutual umpires will not stand for that and will throw yellow cards all over the joint.

Looking forward to week one of finals and good luck to the remaining 5 teams.

Was a really solid win for the roo boys. Was great to see them get up over Kingsley. Was a good hard slog for the first half with the roos going in at half time up by a few of goals. It bucketed down towards the end of half time so the second half was slippery, but still a hard fought game with plenty of good one on one contests. Next weeks rematch will be great to watch. Lets hope its a good clean and fair contest.

Glad there was a lot of support at the Wanneroo v Kingsley game, my take on it was as followed,

The game started with the ball been within the centre square for the first 3-5 minutes of the game, as soon as it was in the air, the pressure from both sides was there and the intensity was through the roof! wonderful to see!

after a huge first quarter teams went into the breaks 8 points a piece, my bets on it been low scoring are looking lovely right now! however in the second wanneroo jumped away quickly kicking 4 goals to 1 in the quarter, from there kingsley struggled to get back into it, they held wanneroo goalless in the third however could only manage one themselves,

Wanneroo ended uprunning out by 3 goals and set up a cracker rematch in the first final!

predictions for this weekend are wanneroo once again victors over kingsley and OR to beat thornlie,

my predicitions on finals has changed.. kingsley after holding top spot all year to fall out of finals in straight sets! Wanneroo v OR grand final.

Whynot - Having seen a fair bit of this Colts comp this year i would be very surprised if Kingsway went out straight sets as per your prediction. They have beaten both Wanneroo and Ocean Ridge twice this year and whilst Finals are a different story they are such an even balanced side who would have to do an awful lot wrong not to proceed to the last game of the season!!

Ive seen it happened too many times in amateur footy to ignore, both kingsley and kingsway i cant see winning their first games, also OR are big game players, I have said all year I wouldnt be surprised if they came from where they are to take out the year on the big dance.
