yeah I noticed Mackin only bowled 4 overs in the 2nd innings and had assumed he must have injured himself. Stoinis did have a good match with the ball and I think given that he is established in the ODI and 20/20 Aussie sides his long term goal may be the 2019 ashes tour where he could establish himself as an international test performer. I certainly think he has the potential to bat at 6 for Australia and keep the pressure on guys like Mitch Marsh and Maxwell.

How bad are the Warriors? they're 4/16 chasing 300 in the second dig against Queensland....outright defeat looming large.

Stoinis has been a disappointment......yeah injuries haven't helped....but you are as only good as your depth....the batsmen seemed to have been more the issue than the bowlers....overall batting wise around Australia the aggregates have been hugely disappointing....not sure if any batsman has scored over 700 runs.....one youngster who has improved his run scoring is ex Aust u/19 skipper Jake Doran from Tassie..... hopefully at 21/22 he can continue to develop....seems to have a good temperament and prepared to put his head down a grind out some runs.....great to see Renshaw getting another 100... .

Pretty good idea that. Maybe he is not so ideal as a replacement for Lehmann as test coach, if his record as Scorchers coach is something to rave about (which it actually is) then his Shield record must get the same scrutiny.

All out for 93, thinking that Hilton Cartwright is a fair way off a test recall.

I would not give Langer the job either. If I was WA I would be asking Mickey Arthur back for next season.

The last three games the wheels have completely fallen off. They have been bowled out for 67 against Tasmania, 93 against Queensland and completely dominated by Victoria at the WACA where their bowlers went for 5+ an over. I think JL has to be accountable for these performances and you can't just trot out the injuries excuse. There are some class players in that side who are just not firing a shot.

Some dreadful numbers there Mike and lets not forget they were 8/90 against Vic before Inglis & Kelly put on over 100 for the 9th wicket.....absolutely awful batting!
