Been ultra impressive for my cats. Love the fact he is dual sided ( such an awesome advantage). Gee were the dockers wise to de-list him?? In these days of athletes, he is a genuine footballer

Oh, that justifies that decision then.

He was only a kid at Hawthorn so not surprising...Dockers were very short sighted and Lyon only used him as a run-with player which didn't suit his style of play. Once Schofield released him into the midfield his huge tank and ability to use both sides of his body it took him to another level. Good on the Cats for giving him another chance...I think he'll repay their faith tenfold.

Spot on BC, that was one of the main attractions for Mena to go to Subi being the guarantee that he'd be a key midfielder. His half a season for us was one of the most dominant seen at WAFL level for some time and without disrespecting Tropiano, Mena would have bolted in for the medal had he played even 4 or 5 more games.

Geelong have got a bargain and he's still early/mid 20's so he can give them plenty of service if his body holds up.

I reckon Sam went very close to 3 Brownlow votes today with 30+ possessions...maybe Motlop with 5 goals and 20 touches will pip him but he was very good nevertheless.

He was brilliant, his disposal is elite as well. So composed too. Good on the bloke i say.

Playing just his fifth senior game, Sam Menegola was a standout, racking up 33 disposals, 15 of them contested, and now at his third club, looks to have found a midfield home

Yes that was one of the reasons, though some extra $$$ was another.

Good on him and how well is he now going at Geelong. If Freo could have realised??? Use to win their 3km time trials and his skills on the track should have told you he had something...oh well.
