News to me BH I am astounded then mate.....Elliot is everything Neesham is not.......thats the difference between tha Black Caps and the All Blacks here in NZ.....the All Blacks take a punt and succeed whilst the Black Caps sit on their arse and dont take a punt.......good for everyone else because Neesham has a test average of nearly 50 batting at 7 with a strike rate near 80......Elliott has done fark all at both formats.......

Its alright freeze I will keep you up to date on the NZ sporting scene mate! ;)
Maybe the NZ selectors think Anderson & Neesham are too similar players but for mine Neesham is a 10 times better cricketer than Elliott!

Captain drops a catch & blames the overhead wires. Didn't notice 100's of different angle TV shots to prove him wrong. DULL boring match. Liked Carberry last night. Had a go.

Mel & Roz V Goss.....think his ego is why he's doing it. Surely the powers that be realise that they're on a winner with the glamour of Mel & Roz.
Leather Stop agree with you, Carberry's knock last night was a beauty. Apparently the ratings for the BBL are big, has a big following in the Ol'Dart, India and South Africa.

Full house at the Waca last night, sell outs in Adelaide, and they are expecting a full house at Skoda stadium tonight,

Don't let anyone for one second try to tell you that T20 doesn't have a following.

Have to agree with Carberry Innings last night, was a beauty. Seems that Arafat is our worst player currently, that makes it an easy swap for Coulter Nile when he is ready to come back for last game and finals, the question is how do you fit the Marsh boys in? Harris and turner could be a couple of very unlucky players if they miss out

Indeed it does!!, and i hope all people who enjoy it watch it. A sobering thought though, The Block, My kitchen rules, and master chef are the top rating shows on TV. Big brother contestants used to pack people in at public appearancs too. BBL great fun all over in a short amount of time, people love it, and as i said good luck to em. Without BBL cricket would be almost ( apart from the ashes and matches against sth Africa, and at times India) dead. Im not a klljoy, just dont like amercanised sporting events.

Watched tonights BBL, heard Mark Waugh and Ponting defending Watson, having a go at the media and the average punter for bagging him after his 80 plus in the 1st innings (no mention of 2nd innings flop). Surely the runs he scores are more in line with an all-rounder batting at no.7 not the no.3 batsmen (not batter) who is supposed to be the team's best batsman ( not batter). I realise he took a couple of wickets, but I reckon S.Marsh or another all-rounder would have also.
Young Burns got his 2nd 50 of the match, Rogers gets six 50's in a row, Smith keeps rewriting the record books, yet Watson is a hero to Waugh and Ponting?
