Only one change, Starc in for Johnson. Injured or resting/rotating Johnson will be missed, but a lot of cricket coming..Tri-nations ODI Aust/Eng/India, ODI World Cup, tour of West indies ( 2 tests & ODI/20-20) then the Ashes. Good chance for Starc to impress, has been bowling close to 150kmph in the BBL, hope he does well, his batting is a huge bonus.
Is this the last chance saloon for Watson? Rodgers has answered his critics, Watson yet to do it. Bill Lawry was a breath of fresh air on 9, reckons Watson's time is up.
Can't get over the number of bowlers in the 140-150kmph Aust has to choose from. Saw Richardson bowl in the BBL, hit the 150 mark.
This series is a lot like last year's Ashes, the Aust tail continues to wag, which has covered the form of some batsmen, or the lack of 100's by the top order.
Interesting to see how India will go now that MS Dhoni has pulled the pin. A lot of talk by both sides about pulling back on the sledging.
On a side note, watching the BBL and loving who they have commentating, Freddy, Viv & KP have been great, breath of fresh air.

Spot on JB. It's a pity though we have to put up with Gilchrist, Ponting, Waugh and worst of all, Fleming. I thought Mark Taylor was bad (and he is) but Fleming is in another realm.

Mark Howard and Andy Maher are ok as are Roz Kelly and definitely Mel McLaughlin. Can't believe she is 35.

Agree with you on the BBL JB. While the more "sophisticated" ones here think it is only for us rednecks, I love it. I used to think KP as an arrogant smart arse, but he comes across really well I think. I always liked Freddy ad he still is good to listen to.

She sure is, its a shame she isn't doing as many games this year. Makes it well worth watching.

Nothing to do with rednecks let alone sophisticated mate. I am no way sophisticated at all. I follow sport for a reason/tradition, not some heavily marketed "who do you barrack for", all bells and whistles circus.Cracks me up how Mr Cricket, a born and bred sandgroper and proud of it in Mike Hussey, doesnt represent his home state. If people are entertianed all well and good, to me its entertainment NOT SPORT ( for me at least). :)

You might find that money was the reason Hussey defected. The Scorchers couldn't or wouldn't match his offer from the Thunder.

Same as Simmons to the Strikers.
