Words fail me at this very sad time.

RIP Hughsey any 25 year old is gone decades too soon.

I feel for the family, being put through such agonising a decision.
May your wounds heal, in the knowledge he is not suffering.

I'm with Bazza on this one...show me any other game where the rules allow a rock hard missile travelling in excess of 140kmh to be aimed at the head....and the earlier analogy of Mitch Johnson bowling bumpers at the poms in the last Ashes series is irrelevant as we'd be having the same conversation if he had hit and killed one of them.

I'm surprised the medical fraternity aren't calling for bouncers to be banned.

Not sure if serious, the medical fraternity aren't calling for it to be banned because it was a pure freak of nature which caused his death. Have you read the text in red in PH post.

Might as well ban silly mid off from fielding in that position as well in fact why not use a tennis ball.
