Ah yes Barney, another response with substance .

This is the clubs new position, I challenge anyone's response .

If East Perth DONT win the premiership, they will be a laughing stock.

But alas, the entire WAFL football community has got it wrong. It's us who are the fools for not admiring and respecting a club who's dominance is based on the stripping of 7 other clubs , and the handing over of an entire AFLs clubs list. Sugar coating it is working wonders.

I should have put that in my letter, a missed opportunity .

I absolutely love it when folk over estimate their intellect.

I contribute on an almost daily basis to the development of the boys in our area and sit behind a screen and shoot barbs knowing full well that they are hiding their keyboard.

I have stated quite clearly my opinion of the alignment but rather than skulk around being dumb I work with the boys give the help and assistance rather than have them do nothing and end up being lost to the game.

Yes I am doing it well rather than being destructive to the development and education of boys and seeing them have an opportunity to play the game as colts and albeit elsewhere later in their career. The satisfaction I get from seeing 14 boys from last year playing reserves and Callum Hart, Freddie and Fraz play league after having contributed is worth the effort.

So you are basically admitting you have no opinion on the subject other than stating you support the colts & reserves. Nothing wrong with that of course, good on you. But your cleverly criticise people like me for having an opinion, when in reality you have no opinion. 100 plus years of club history is worth having a strong opinion on. Simply blowing up your own tyres repeatedly about the EP youngsters without actually saying anything is convenient.

Once again you need help reading and the quote in BIG letters is I have stated quite clearly my opinion of the alignment .

Rather the restate ad nauseam the same comments I look to add new information about the game each week, about players from MY club and others who are doing well in my OPINION so that others can oppose them in a rational and with new opinions.

As for being wonderful, no that is something I would never suggest it. I contribute to the WAFL and I interact with people and never suggest anyone is inadequate with their OPINIONS because they are their opinions and I respect them for having them and developing them. As opposed to some who just restate the same stuff over and over again (oh that is what ad nauseam means just so you don't have to google).

As for my current demeanor I am actually quite amused and therefore happy at being able to undertake a conversation with someone who has a differing opinion,

I'm sure they are waiting for another one of your sparkling letters, just like the EP fans you used to sit with no doubt continually talk about how much they miss you. Judging by your posts on here you never ending moaning and groaning with a little taste of a massive superiority complex was surely the best part of their week.

Barney , I sat on the outer. I was a member but I wasn't a member for the benefit of sitting with or near other members. And I challenged you to respond to two quotes, which you failed to do, probably because the answer you want to give justifies my argument . And you would hate that. Plus your answer would explain that you are happy with the alignment & the massive unfair advantages that come with it.

Respond to what, you didn't ask a question. You just made another grandstanding statement that makes little sense that everyone seems to have ignored. That says a lot as well.

Grump by your own admission the alignmen adversely affects the opportunity of local juniors in the East Perth zone to play league for East Perth. Under no circumstances can you or anyone else suggest that the alignment has not resulted in an unfair advantage to your club andhas been deleterious to the non-aligned clubs.

Perhaps you can answer the question how it is fair that East Perth has the potential to playsomething in the order of 20 players out of 22 in the finals who are on an AFL list?

Also, in support of Jardine I know of a couple who are in their 80s who have supported East Perth since they were young who are thoroughly disgusted with what East Perth have done.

There is no reason or basis for the alignment and its adverse effect on the WAFL, I have always maintained the same line.

It effects the club in many ways and will in the end (when the weagles) move to lathlain will leave effectively an 8 team competition, no EP!

The boys that I work for have the opportunity to learn and take that to another club on the basis that they are good enough to do so.

As for long term supporters whilst some may have 20 years on me I have supported EP since 1956 when I went and saw EP vs Swans, my sire supported Swans and so I supported EP.

The point of the my responses to Jardine is that to go over the same points over and over again is pointless, find a different path to address the issue and if there no other path then accept that it has happened,is totally and utterly unfair not just on your club but on my club. I at least continue to support a part of the club that deserves not to be left in the cold becuase of decisions made at a higher level.
