Amazing to say the least that the FFC couldn't organise itself and cater for their fans back at Freo Oval.

I heard on the radio that the ablution blocks wouldn't have handled the crowd...ha ha but is good enough to hold Foundation Day derby crowds of 10,000.

That's what footy is all about. I argue black and blue with mates about footy especially Eagles mates. I don't even know why I hate some teams, I just do. Bagging rivals is all in a days work. Get over it, at least in this country we can wear our colours anywhere without being in danger. I travelled to Old Trafford a long time ago with a whole heap of Leeds fans. Let me tell you that was an experience.

By the way Freo's postcode is 6160 Hawthorns is 3122.

Yep exactly,,that's a load of BS, I can believe they did put some Marques up a few portable funnies, they could of done if for the game as well, people sitting on the oval,,would of been ideal,,and a massive post gf celebration or wake,,either way it should of been in freo..

Totally agree with swandog. The dockers are not very fremantle, they are not a real club, just a business organisation marketed to represent fremantle.

Fremantle has had a long association with aussie rules football because for over 100 years it has been represented by two strong clubs in the w.a.f.l. The dockers have had to "borrow" from the rich footballing tradition and history associated with Fremantle because of course they don't have any themselves being one of the least successful clubs in the league.

Absolutely spot on,,,I still reckon the dockers would of been far better to follow the port Adelaide model,,and build from the combined base of SF and EF ...but alas they just went for some sterile corporate body with zero connection to grass roots clubs, run by the mysterious. WAFC who oddly enough run their rivals the WCE as well!!! Whole thing is farcical...if anyone thought freo were actually freo,,,this post grand final effort today should but paid to that myth,

And that Bazza is probably 80% of the reason why I still support the Eagles, albeit in a smaller way nowadays. Being an EF supporter since I was a kid, I felt that I would probably jump ship to Freo. But it wasn't Freo, it was Claremont and Swans, the original colours were a clown's outfit and the name, "dockers" was a laugh. Now I see a lot of their supporters are quite bitter and can't laugh at themselves....I'm truly glad I stayed where I am.
