A senior constable has been charged with this breach of privacy and faces up to 2 years jail. Absolutely unbelieveable. A career ending move for sure.

That's irrelevant. Nothing to do with the press and the guy is entitled to privacy and the presumption of innocence.

Last time I looked cross dressing wasn't illegal but stalking sure was and so is posting official photos from inside a police station on social media.
