Such unprofessional behavior by the now suspended without pay Senior Constable. It's pretty obvious that Dean is dealing with a mental health issue.Dean came through WP the same time as Darren Bewic,Paul Mifca,Sean King,Gavin Chaplin.

Fully agree mike, this is absolutely disgraceful and a huge black eye for the vic cops. Ok, stalking is an offence, but Dean obviously has other problems.

I hope the cop gets a hefty punishment really poor effort
I once nominated Laidley in a thread for toughest footballers we’ve ever seen, I still stand by that but this was certainly unexpected!

TOO, gtr: he was an extremely brave player, possibly the bravest pound for pound.
Also, he is right up there as one of the best footballers to come out of the northern suburbs

Fong
Stazza
Laidley

Interestingly AR where those players you named came from- Nollamara, Westminster/Balga is considered central these days.
From the modern northern suburbs the likes of Stephen & Brad Hill (Quinns), Darling (Sorrento/Duncraig), Van Berlo (Whitfords) would be some of the better known names.

BH yep, good post mate, and I agree 100 per cent
Darren Rumble would be another whom was a pretty good footballer, for us, fortunately, rather than WP. Bease, I think that the whole of the inner north and north has under performed in terms of producing footballers since 1980. Again, the one exception is the
middle class area zoned to Subiaco on the coast.

What do you think?

Now that's a great example of a "victim". Thought he tried out with Claremont preseason in 1986. Was talking with Mossie. Just a kid then. Lined up 5 times over three years at Subi Must have been the least experienced number ONE draft pick & grabbed by Geelong. Came back & couldn't fit in at WAFL.

How could you forget his East Perth years especially when he ran through Basil Zempilas...that action was worthy of the number 1 pick alone!

Interesting points raised about footballers in the northern costal suburbs.
Did think 20 years ago that West Perth would dominate the competition. With those plumb high population growth areas. But that doesn't appear to be the case.Despite the fact that WP have been a decent side in that era and won a couple of flags.
As for Dean .It does appear that people close to him knew about this stuff going on.Hope he gets through all this business ok ,with no help from the clowns at VicPol.All the best Dean L.
