Oh he has problems alright, along with his cohorts. But hang on, it is the vic police we’re talking about, so the brothers will look after them. Actually, Dean is lucky they just didn’t shoot him.

I think there needs to be more support for ex coaches as well as players. We have seen a number of ex coaches fall on hard times in the recent past

I'm sure there may be more who we dont know about. Mick Malthouse made the point that the role is very high stress and some people cannot handle the fallout afterwards

Dean Laidley has got a massive compensation claim coming his way for defamation and breach of privacy. I mean, it's cops themselves who are meant to protect us and charge people with breach of privacy and defamation. I'd say he's looking at anything north of half a mil and possibly in excess of 1 million dollars.

DD VicPol will want to settle out of court also.They have dragged themselves through the mud already on this story.And given the fact that Dean is currently receiving treatment for a mental health issue.Just makes it look really bad for VP.

The vic police should pay it out of their budget. This is totally unacceptable. The guy is, so it would appear, very mentally fragile. He wouldn’t be the first to commit self harm.
Put yourself in his shoes, how would you live with the shame?
