Chris Yarran has just been released from his contract at Richmond. That might be the pace and goal kicking you've been looking for. It's probably the end of his AFL career.

btw....better start a new thread if you think about answering as the bogan faithful can only keep up with one or two posts a day and if it's not directly on topic they have problems processing it and want people to move on or start deleting stuff.

Seeing you've mentioned it twice let me explain it to you. Club boards are specifically for issues related to that particular club. For example this thread is called New Recruits under the Swan Districts thread, so the news about Chris Yarran is a legitimate discussion. The point about mental health may or may not be relevant however it is a topical issue which people could respond to.

When posters start talking about other club issues on the swans topic, taking the topic off on a tangent or using it to bang on about irrelevant issues like your now banned Subiaco mate used to do, that's when it becomes annoying. There are plenty of general threads to start topics and people should avail themselves of this facility. If you still don't understand ask the moderator.

Kim Hagdawn said Chris Yarran will be back at Swans by Friday. He needs to be in a comfortable space.Swans will make Chris at home like we do with all the Aboriginal boys.My only consern is we have already recruited heavily in 17.Have we got enough salary cap left for chris.

All the recruits apart from Crowley will be one point players as they all originated at Swans, so no pressure on the points cap. Might have been different if we had recruited Mzungu. If Chris decides to play footy and I don't necessarily think that would be certain, my feeling is that he wouldn't be in it for the money, more that he will be in a familiar environment close to family members.

Don't talk shit Grassy my contribution on the Swans board was totally justified since Swans went hard for him. You've been much more restrained lately Grassy don't spoil it.

Yes Mike, might be a blessing you didn't get Tendai. Hopefully Yarran can get himself into a good head space and playing good footy. Would be a great boost for Swans and the WAFL.

So Mike every time we get back an ex Afl player who came from Swans. Its a 1 point player,we can rebuild and stay competitive. With all our Afl players finishing there careers back at Swans.

He will be better off at Swans - a real footy club! Not a corporate machine AFL franchise

In an ideal world that would be fantastic GTR, the last time I counted there were about 20 ex Swans in the AFL with at least one more (Griffin Logue) to join the ranks shortly.
