You're really hurting right now aren't you. Terrible heartless team performance, blokes not playing for the jumper, 2 big injuries. Chin up mate, the only way is up.

could be worse, my life might involve posting on a WAFL teams facebook page, then I know its time to go to coles or Woolies and get a life.
staying one step ahead of you keeps me sane, i'll keep an eye out for more lemon eating performances.

Other than a few posts on the supporters poll over a month ago when have I posted? There's no need to lash out at those around you when you're angry.

nice try Lemons, a facebook stalker is something to be proud of for an adult :)

MarkOlsen wrote: despite the stupid comments from our coach last week the player we cant replace is Davis, he wouldnt have let those East Freo blokes cruise around last week with no pressure, he would have tackled his backside off to get us back in the game then kicked a few goals as well.
no forward pressure and without Broad no run from the half back line.
and now no ruckman..
without our backline last week we would have lost by a 100 points, long time since I have seen us play so poorly.

To have applied so little pressure, showed little desperation (bar the defenders) and have such poor foot skills in Round 1 was surprising I must admit, it was like we were completely unprepared for an opposition onslaught on their home deck looking to attain for a poor season last year. And for all of the above in a club favourite son's milestone game & also after a very tough week for another one of our boys raised alarm bells to me without even taking into account Docs injury. The disposal count and inside 50s for each side should be an absolute embarrassment for our midfielders.

shows up the coach for all his pre-season statements, he should come under more scrutiny but escapes criticism for some reason. Has continually failed to take the team the next step and then makes daft statements about players like Newman and thinks he has to put down Davis in the same article.

Did Harding actually say that or was that just a bit more poetic licence from Swans No.1 ticket holder Townsend trying desperately to get a headline?
Overall I reckon Harding has done a good job over the last few years only 2 years ago we were tipped by every scribe in town to finish winless and stone motherless last and we ended up making the finals and were on top of the ladder for a good part of that year, playing stocks from the 14s all the way up to the League squad has good depth of LOCAL talent.
I was just astounded in the League on Saturday by the way players who have well over 50 games of League experience now just let the likes of Eardley, Anthony, O'Brien, MacNamara & co walk all over them with barely a whimper of defence put up not sure what the coach can do with that attitude as he has backed them in and been let down badly!

these are the quotes from the paper, not a made up story:
“If Murray stays fit you will see someone who is in the top four or five players in the competition,” Harding said on the eve of the season opener against East Fremantle.

“Murray is as good as, if not better than, Ryan Davis.

“He is a superstar. Ryan couldn’t run out of sight on a dark night but Murray Newman is more dynamic, as good at stoppages and has just as good goal sense around the goals.

“He played forward a lot in the AFL but this kid is one of the best off-hands players you will ever see and he will spend a significant amount of time in the midfield.”

Davo was the best player in the WAFL make no mistake, looks to me like he was trying to pump Muzz's tyres up as he is a definite confidence player who showed some good signs on Saturday but probably no need for the slap on Rhinos running ability.

yes, its normal behaviour for an adult to be on another WAFL clubs facebook page posting and displaying lemon eating behaviour.
seems really reasonable to me, thats if i was 15.
